That's another problem with Filipinos, being too sensitive.
minor stuff like this and some others in the past just made me laugh.
The time when the Filipinos demanded an apology because there was a filipina maid dancing sexy-like just annoyed me, could you imagine how sensitive they are? Other Asian countries like Japan and China is OK with that... (I'm a Filipino)

I live in the Philippines (was not raised here though) and i am a filipina. I trip around like that too. More like pretending i was high/drunk or something. pretty fun.
I think it is better to set aside words like "americans, Chinese, filipinos" etc etc We are one. Skin and culture are just the difference but we are still humanly equal. no need to hate or differentiate or compare or be all ignorant etc.
