@Spinal2111 :) That does sound kinda funny when I look back at it in the video but my intent in saying that was because so many knives out there are not uniformly sharp across the whole blade. And many times one part might be sharper than another but with Bucks unique way of sharpening they get every single inch super sharp. There are a lot of high end manufacturers out there that produce knives that cant cut this good, so that makes this one really special. ;)
Have you had a chance to skin a deer or any large animal with this knife? If so, how many times did you need to resharpen, if any? I have a Buck knife that I have owned over 20 years with no problems. Buck makes great knives and they are still made in the USA! Thanks for the review and video.
Great review. I have the Buck 119 Special. It has white ivory grip. I love it. I have had it locked up in my safe for several years. Decided to pull it out and start using it. I hope to do a review on it soon. Anthony.
This knife did come very sharp from the factory, and I love it... But, I just wanted to point out: you CAN make it even sharper with a little time. It holds an edge relatively well (not as well as others, but still pretty good), and it is very easy to sharpen. At this particular moment, my favourite blade :)
Mothers Mag & Aluminum Polish removes scratches from the aluminum guard and pommel, and makes them gleam. I highly recommend it. The 119 is actually a "larger" hunting knife. :)
Very good knife, my first have lasted for 7 years, been with me all over the place :) rarely have to sharpen it, i even use it for shaving if my razor dont work ;) hehe
You could make a parody, such a sharp knife * cut paper* very sharp*cut hair on arm* such a very very sharp knife * cuts arm to pieces* xD hehe would be funny though. Love the knife ! i have 2 buck 119 special myself. good in hunting
i have one of those, but smaller...mine is not very sharp but the tip is good! i mean it looks like it can stab trouh stone...im SRS you have a very nice knife there, but your can slice and stuf that is kick ass, and mine is....how can i say......stabb stabb stabb :D

I think widdling wood will dull your blade less than if you cut paper or cardboard.
