OK I tried to make a clay one for my french instructor because i love him haha but I made like 2 of them and I can't get them to work? Its just like blowing air through them and I have no idea what I am doing wrong.. :(

@stickmanmersenary The sound hole HAS to be on the same plane as the blowing hole. Like if you stuck a pin in there the Sound hole will be at the end of the pin when inserted in the blowing hole pause at 1:13 and that should help.

indeed you shouldn't. The reason is that sound sounds warmer if you don't, has to do something with the non-smooth surface of the clay
