Hey PurpleSlimes, how's it goin'? No, that's the way they come. They are a part of SX Guitars. Or Rondo Music use to carry them before the SX's became bigger. I have a couple of old Rondo music books that have the "Brice" basses in them along with the SX basses too. Also, everybody that sees it say the same thing, "SADOWSKY". Lol!
Hey DissolvingTime, ah,...what I can do down the road is open up a bass or two so you can see how my luthier did it. I don't mind doing that. Maybe that can help you.

Brice makes traditional style headstocks, or did you modify this too? That actually looks real nice, almost like a Sadowsky.
