@MrDigitalRob You need to do your history homework bud. For the record, ALL skateboards are supposed to carve and surf the street, even street boards. If it doesn't carve and turn well, it's set up improperly, ESPECIALLY if it has a short wheelbase. The Landyachtz Evo is undoubtedly a longboard, but it barely turns on flatland cause it's made for speed. My Powell street setup turns WAY sharper than that thing.
@professorNIKKI I don't know where you're getting your info, but I know my skate history, and where the word "longboard" came from. Many of the board designs people mistake for longboards are just old school, the new popscicle shape didn't start appearing until around the early 90s, not all the boards that came before those were longboards. The idea that anything other than the mainstream design is a longboard is a stupid misconception that got out of hand.
@Abec11Zeph Sorry man the dudes right, what seperates a longboard from a skateboard is the turning mechanics. You can have 25'' longboards up to 55'' like I said its the mechanics not the length =)
@lilstitch96 Longboards ARE skateboards. If it has a deck, 2 trucks, and 4 urethane wheels, it's a skateboard. A longboard is just a skateboard that's 36" or longer.
