Yeah they did. I think she did it to calm them all down because they was lost under the town in the sewer system. Still its a great book. When i read this in the study late at night every sound made me worry it might be pennywise thats how good it is.

I will warn that it is alot darker than the movie. Incae you want to know it does have alot of sexual situations, death scenes, and other kinds of stuff. So yeah, lol! If you want to know anything else than i'd be happy to tell you! But you won't regret reading it if you decide to!

*sigh* This WAS in the book. I've read this book like nearly twice cause it was so good, and mainly cause I didnt have anything else to read lol.

He saw the deadlights actually and I guess it was so terrible he didn't want to go back. The memories just dramatized him. It explains it in the book. At first when I read it I thought it WAS the clown but he did it himself.

Hopefully that clears some confusion, lol.

Basically it's about these 7 adults, make that 6 in this scene, who have to return back to their hometown after this so called "IT" comes back after 27 years, like a cycle, after a promise they made when they were children that if it ever came back they would come back and kill it for good since it likes to feed on children.

Stan (the man) was the one who had it the hardest, he couldn't accept it and he was too scare to cope with it again, so he commits suicide to avoid keeping the promise he made as a child.

If you cut horizontally (as most movies show etc...) you will bleed alot, but its not deadly. People who are actually suicidal cut vertically. You have to cut open the vein in your arm, which you can see easily by your wrist. Of course, if you want to cut horizontally youd have to do it several times.
