  • I miss these old Disney Sing-Alongs. It's not just closed captioning, you get the cute Mickey Mouse head bouncing along (or the words change color) and, once in a while, they'll do something creative with the words (like the pink musical notes in this one).

  • love this

  • street savior-faire say what? what the mess is that? i've been singing "i've got street side walk fare" lmao

  • This is such an underestimated Disney film. Its one of my faves -3

  • Most underrated Disney movie!

  • This song's on my iPod :3

  • The way I learned this song was through sing along songs :D

I always remember when I used to use the note scale to sing that part <3

  • I used to have a vhs of disney songs that I would watch every day. So when I happened across this song earlier today (and yes, this is my fifth or sixth time listening to it today!) I still knew every word and some of the choreography. Well, as much as a human can know a dog's choreography. But the question that occurs to me is: I wonder how many times I've rewritten this song without realizing it? I'm almost afraid to check.

  • dodger made me want to be a dog.. a cool dog

  • sausage never looked so stylish!!!=^.^=

  • LOVE this song!! WHY SHOULD I WORRY! WHY SHOULD I CARE! I GOT SWEET SAVIOR- FAIRE

  • @jjellybbeannxxo Lol,well after being dragged about in the streets of new york, through cement and alleyways i'm not so sure about that XD

  • @ValkyrieCain123 just adds flavor ;)

  • this Disney song is so cool WOW i should decide to be a homeless right now and cuss my mother out and say up yours i'm living in the streets and i'm not going to worry about a damn thing but be happy and sing all day LOL!!!!!!!

  • @jjellybbeannxxo OMG me too. I thought I was the only one. lol

  • @jjellybbeannxxo They look good but after being all over NY's streets I wouldn't take the chance xD

  • Dude, you can't tell me Dodger didn't invent SWAG

  • The nostalgia! IT BURNS!!!

  • I'm 29 going on 30 and i saw this movie when it first came out in theaters, saw it 3 times with my last visit was after christmas day and i had the merchandise such as readalong book with cassette, soundtrack, junior novel, jar with oliver and dodger, t-shirt, PJs, coloring books, stuffed Oliver, PVC toys from sears and Mcdonalds finger puppets including Mcdonalds singing ornuments. Too bad it was never on video for 7 years, i still enjoy this movie for nostalgia.

  • I LOVE THIS SONG!

  • :'( i cant find this song in dutch

  • BILLY JOEL!

  • 19 People Worry Dx

  • cooooooool!!!

  • I love the part were he plays the piano with his tail

  • It's sad that a stray dog has a more advanced vocabulary then I do...

    T_T

  • @nazzthespazz16 I know right, he can even play the piano and wear sunglasses better than me...

  • @nazzthespazz16 Of course when you think about it, that dog is also billy joel

  • those must be REALLY dirty sausages

  • Love. This. Song.

I used to have a the sing-along songs Disney movie!! With all the little birds in school... singing and learning Disney songs... wish I went to a school like that.

  • My favorite song of all time

  • Comment removed

  • Love billy joel here!!

  • pongo is never black except for one time when he camoflauged himself. I meant the little black dog the had the huge friend.

  • this is what life is about listening to disney songs but also singing to them you have to have time to do that because it is BA

  • back in the day I used to drop acid and ride my bike to work listening to this song! sure brings back the memories..:) miss my cd player

  • that's why she said :-P Oh I watched this video over and over again when i was little Gotta Love Disney!!!

  • Wow! i haven't seen this movie in long time. I use to love singing along with this song! (found out i still do)

  • who spotted the black dog from 101 dalmations

  • @kgspodinsky You mean Pongo?

  • Oliver when he got all fuzzed up looked exactly like my cat, same expression, I lol'd!

  • I LOVE OLIVER! <3 LOVE!

  • I saw Pongo and Jock :D

  • who else spotted Pongo and that dog from Lady and the Tramp?

  • I remember this being the very first VHS Cassette my parents bought me.

And I'm still in love with the entire movie.

  • aside from all the disney channel stuff, all the new disney movies such as princess and the frog or anything attempting to be like these aren't working for me. i mean, i like princess and the frog, but it will never be one of my favorites like the ones i've grown up with. :/ honestly, the only good thing about disney now is pixar. sigh.

  • @princesstoadstooool

Wanna know why the new Princess and the Frog didn't really do anything for you? Cause u weren't raised on it. It's new, and not something u grew up singing along with. (in mi opinion)

Hell, I realized that when I was rewatching the 13 intros to pokemon. I hated the last 4 or 5 cause I wasn't raised watching them.

That's why I'm worried about the new Rapunzel movie, Tangled.

  • @Live2bEvil that's what i believe too. :/ but i still liked it, regardless. i just won't ever love it, i think. and so am i. of course i am going to give it a chance, but i doubt i can love it like how i love the ones i grew up with.

  • @Live2bEvil To a certain extent I think that's true. People on youtube go on about how everything sucks nowadays, be it disney, nick, cartoon network...But really it's just nostalgia. Things weren't necessarily any better 15 years ago. On the same token though, I didn't care for the songs from princess and the frog. They were so simple and boring, in general. I'm like, wow, the lyrics aren't even good. The songs were on the level of Mulan's, but as a whole, I like Mulan more.

  • @Live2bEvil I kind of agree with you. Half of it is because we grew up on it. I guess the other half could be that we don't feel like a great deal of the movies Disney makes now will be the ones that will become "classics". But, I like some of the new stuff. I liked the Princess and the Frog, especially the music. And if it's about growing up on stuff, we have no need to worry about the new stuff, because there's new kids to judge the movies.

  • Man, it's been like, forever since I saw this movie....

  • I can see the dogs from LADY AND THE TRAMP and pongo from 101 DALMATIONS at 2:16

  • I just can't get my hand around WHY they would quit making movies like these? Those kids only like Hannah Montana because they don't know any better!

  • i loved this movie me and my friends called each other bye the dogs names lol i was Oliver lol

  • Disney should make a new channel on classic cartoons and shows about disney, bring back DUCK TALES, TALE SPINS, DARKWING DUCK, GUMMI BEARS, AND ALL THE OTHER GREAT SHOWS AND CARTOONS pleasseeee disneeyyyy

  • @kobewild1

OMG another 80's/early 90's kid and mid-late 90's teen like me! i grew up with those shows as a well. Did you see this movie when it came out in theaters as a kid too? and did you had any merchandise as well including those Mcdonalds finger puppets to Mcdonalds Ornuments?

  • I'm loving the Peg, Trusty, Jock, and Pongo cameos. It's always good seeing old stars in other movies :)

  • My cat was an orange kitty, like Olliver, so of course, we named him the same <3.

  • 1:19. I love his face! That's a typical cat AND teenager face. Tee-hee. :3

  • Now that's a dog with style :3

    He's Sexy :D

    for a dog :o

hahaha I love this movie! AND the OLD disney movies n,n

  • @DogLoverGSC He is sexym isn't he? xD Tramp is sexy too :3

  • omg..these disney sing alongs were a staple in my childood!!!

  • aww i remember this!! this was my favorite part of the movie! last time i heard this i couldnt even sing that low

  • wow at 2:13 peg, jock and trusty are in NEW YORK for dogs they sure do get around :)

  • i love bily joel

  • What kid would know what "synocopated" meant when singing along? XD Ah, the time of the golden songs when they weren't afraid to use big words. Who said kid songs weren't educational?

  • I love Oliver and Company!

  • crap, i was gunna upload the same this exact same thing today! lol well good job! :)

  • I miss the old Disney movies.. not this new 3D crap they have out now

  • @shawneebzfan1 I tend to agree, but... watch Bolt.

  • days when disney was worth watchin

  • haha wow this was my favorite song when I used to watch my Disney Sing-along videos when I was younger!

  • haha.. this was my favorite part of this movie!

  • The Princess and the Frog also had some strength, but the opening (Tiana's father and restaurant) didn't tie into the supernatural plot at all, and the middle of the movie was devoted to weak swamp segments. It's up to par with the older princess movies, but the princess movies were never dynamic enough for me... so I'm more excited to see what Disney will do next, with their traditional animation mojo restored.

  • @ChortortleC

disney should also do Stop Motion Animation and Clay next

  • @Johnlindsey289 I never got the point of claymation. It trades the gritty detail available to stop-motion away... for what, exactly?

  • Here are the good Disney films made since Mulan:

-The Emperor's New Groove. (I expected to hate it, but it's hilarious and smart.)

-Lilo and Stitch. (Loving and well-done. The ending is weak.)

-Treasure Planet. (No one gives this movie a chance. It's very good.)

-Bolt. Yes, it's CG. Yes, it's amazing.

You should also check out Don Bluth's films (All Dogs Go To Heaven, The Land Before Time, The Secret of Nimh) if you haven't already.

  • @ChortortleC all great movies, and I love Treasure Planet

love this song and the setting, characters, etc.

  • i always thought it said Street and sidewalk there, not street savoir-faire

  • Love this song/movie :)

  • love this song:D

  • I didn't realize until yesterday just how much Disney has effected me growing up. I mean, basically every movie I watched until I was a teen was Disney.

It's too bad they don't make movies anymore. And yall know what I mean, movies like Pochantas, Mulan... I'm sorry but Princess and the Frog was horribly bad. Like lol bad.

  • @DarthYoungling aww you really didnt like it? It had all the heart and soul of a classic disney film! I adored it

  • @inulovedog Well I never actually saw any of the Princess movies like Cinderalla and Snow White, and Mulan and Pochantas technically weren't Princesses (except maybe to their guys), but I just didn't like how ridiculous it was. Maybe that's how they all are though.

  • @DarthYoungling I loved Mulan and Pochantas but was never into the helpless princesses like Snow White or Cinerella who needed a man to live happily ever after. I felt like Tiana was a strong women who didnt need a man to get her anywhere and she had so much heart and love for her hopes and dreams. This is just my opinion though.

  • i have this movie and i love it!

  • i miss this movie i love this song :)

  • this was my favorite movie when i was young

  • Roger has SOME singing voice!

  • Oliver reminds me so much of my brother's kitten!! XD

this has been one of my favorite Disney movies since I first saw it. Took me forever to figure out what the hell Dodger was saying-- "Street Savoir Faire" --I was like "huuuh?!"

  • I love the tune to this

  • I love this song and this movie. I've been a true Disney fan since I was born.

  • 1:18 lol

  • I love Oliver and Company! My brother (who is 15) never seen it until recently because I made him watch it :D

  • i'm rebuying all the disney movies

  • I LOVED this movie when I was little, I was heartbroken when i left it in at a resort

  • I remember seeing this movie as a kid, Dodger sings a Billy Joel song was funny.

  • Oh my god, 1:30 - SUCH A BADASS

  • One of my favorite Disney movies of all time! (=

  • used to have this on tape when I was a kid!

  • @nerdelicious5 OMG me too!

  • lol i still have it on tape!

  • one of my favorite disney songs! love billy joel's voice in this song!!!

  • I actually put this on my ipod. :P

I love this song. Gots a good message. :)

  • yeah dude me too

  • @WolfpupBrew

    so did i!

    this song is da best!

and yes, it is a good message.

billy joel we have to thank!

  • XD Until a few years ago, I had no idea he was saying "Why should I worry?" I could never undertsand what he was saying as a kid

  • the two lady dogs bouncing their butts to the music is hilarious!

  • LMFAO. one of my fav disney sing a longs. oh man, when my mom use to buy me tapes of sing a longs.

  • hehe xD

me and my friend would do the "wooo wooo woo woo woooo" part all the time

  • @alltimesickestkids i still do

  • Aww, I miss VHS's :(

  • @SwiftingRabbit i understand!they were so cheap, i had loads!

  • my favorit movie

  • Billy Joel is the man, he did an awesome job with this song

  • omg a flying cat

  • Cool I like this song! and movie ^ ^ Makes people in a good mood.

  • my favorite

  • I love this song! It puts you in an awesom mood!

  • The real last good Disney movie like this ( that weren't sequels) was Lilo and Stitch.

  • I was born in 87 so I was raised on the Disney Silver Age. Here's hoping John Lasseter can return Disney to the highest they reached with the Lion King.

  • I was raised on Disney. I miss it.

  • @sweetestsarah08 me 2!!

  • lol and their goes pongo

  • I just realized how funny it is that Dodger puts on sun glasses and plays piano during this song.

  • Ironic

  • omgoodness. i used to have this tape. XD

  • 2:12 i just noticed that those dogs are in ''lady and the tramp''

  • This was golden.

Why did they had to improvise with today's rubbish? x_x

  • classic disney is still the best!

  • Technically, this isn't classic Disney, it's classified as part of the Disney renaissance. Classic Disney would be the likes of Snow White, Cinderella, 101 Dalmatians, Dumbo, etc. But I agree, old Disney is by far better than today. Once 2000 hit, it started going downhill.

  • Tell me about it Jpicc89.

Now it is all Hannah Montana.

Ugh, I hate her, and her reality shows.

    It's all crap.

Every single thing that Disney ever makes now is pure utter crap.

  • I don't have much of a problem with Miley. Sure, a little bit of overexposure, but all in all she's okay, and some of her music is actually pretty nice. Now, the Jonas Brothers on the other hand. Them I can do without.

  • Wait she is Miley Sirus? That

    is confusing.

To be truthful, her music ain't half bad at times. Just I hate her taking over Disney.

  • She really isn't so much anymore. She's still popular, sure, but usually with younger fans. The teenagers have more power, and they're all crazy over the Jonas Brothers.
