  • goddamn his guitar play is killer!

  • Chuck could've been a really good clean vocalist with some practice.

  • i live for death

  • I have this re-issue and this version is not on mine. :(

  • @cadelk87 They have two versions of the re-issue, a two disc and a three disc...i'm pretty sure this is on the three disc

  • this is Tim Aymar, on the 1996 Control Denied Demo..... Chuck is king

  • @darkxstin

    it is Chuck actually

  • @darkxstin Dude this is Chuck :D listen to the Voice from some Interviews of Chuck then you hear that this is Chuck :D

  • Holy shit what cant Chuck do? R.I.P!

  • This song definetely works better with clean vocals, I always felt that there was something missing and now i know what it was :D

  • I love sound of perseverance, but I would have really loved if it was released with clean vocals, it would have been unique

  • hmmm, its really interesting.

  • I FUCKING COME!

  • i honestly like his singing better than tim's. i also really like how he throws in his scream growl things. i wish he had done that in control denied...

  • This literally melted my face off.

  • yeah, i can see the Rob Halford influences.

  • This is very strange.

I actually like it a lot. It adds a whole new dynamic to the song.

  • wtf? :D this is good but...i think its better with harsh vocals..

  • i think the solo is better in my opinion

  • This is definatly Tim Aymar.

  • @Brutalyeah Have you ever heard Chuck's clean vocals on Fragile Art of Existence ?

It is not Tim Aymar on this track, this is Chuck. Tim sounds completely different.

  • @r00rie

But that scream after 1:10 then?

  • @Brutalyeah Listen to The Sound of Perseverance, the actual album. Chuck sounds that way for pretty much the entire album, man.

  • @Brutalyeah I think the scream is really similar to something Chuck would to, if you compare it to his other harsher scream.

  • @guitardude901

Well after listening alot of Control Denied I realized this is Tim Aymar indeed.

It sucks the new album isnt there yet, I heard someone broke into their studio earlier this year and messed up the recordings. Prolly coming out early 2012 now.

  • @Brutalyeah Well if its either Tim or Chuck I don't really, i'm just glad to hear this version haha. Anyway, I'm excited to hear the new album . Why would someone want to mess with the recording intentionnally, thats kinda strange.

  • @Brutalyeah I heard they also jacked a lot of equipment from the studio.

  • rip Chuck, great demo ;-))

  • THIS IS CHUCK SINGING

  • @frindle8 Yeah, this is Chuck singing. If you know how his voice sounds when he talks, you can tell it's him.

  • @Pennys1 Hahaha it wasn't a question... I am telling all the other people arguing that it is.

  • @frindle8 Lol

  • Im happy i got the three disc editon the album chuck made is amazeing and this track is way better with harsh growls over the clean whitch i think is understandable why its on TSOP rather than TFAOE album

  • @Nosophora , I know who Tim is, and he did sing on these demo's. Chuck happens to sing on this one though.

  • This is obviously not Chuck.

  • @Nosophora It is, listen closely. Have you heard Chuck's normal voice? :50 Perfect example, then his high shrills.

  • @ThatTastyJuiceBox Im pretty sure that's Tim Aymar. It is the same voice on ''The Fragile Art Of Existance'' album.

  • No, it's definitely Chuck... Notice his signature scream at 1:12. Plus it sounds like his voice anyway... he sang a little bit on Painkiller and it sounded kind of like this.

  • @aarongtr180 No it's definitely Tim.

  • @Megadedly It sounds exactly like Chuck singing. And plus, "Chuck Schuldiner Clean Vocals".

  • @aarongtr180 Doesn't really sound like Chuck with all of the effects.

  • @Megadedly It´s Chuck

  • According to Paul Payne's myspace, he said The Sound of Perseverance was supposed to be an album with clean vocals but the label wanted harsh vocals..which is kinda strange :S

  • @nerdheadbanger i'm really glad he screamed for it strangely i have much more trouble getting used to singing than screaming

  • I think this song was meant to be a Control Denied song, and that's the reason for the clean vocals

  • @TailGunner01 It might be... it totally sounds like it

  • @TailGunner01 Chuck himself has said that none of his compositions for Control Denied was used to fill an album of Death.

  • Cool, Control Denied:)

  • EXTREMO!!!
