@MrPartizanac In the sense that they are trying to liberate those still in Amarr space but technically they have already won their freedom with the creation of the Minmatar Republic. The war to save those still in Amarr is just to bring the rest of them home. But they've done the job they have a new nation and a place to call home and the strength to back up their interests.

@AliTheTall Technically you control only one ship at all times. You can control drones in a way. But fleet commanders tell people what to do. For example who to attack, who will attack, where to go, what to do , etc.

The game if full Player controlled so technically you can disobey but the fleet commander might get angry. depends how his like.

Some of the scenes in this I don't recognize as Eve footage or a segment grabbed from one of the already existing trailers, such as from 1:02 to 1:08, Fighters don't launch and stay in formation, and those look like some of the Frigates and not the fighters or fighter-bombers. Or from 1:48 to 1:53, that definitely isn't a Rifter. It has fixed guns, not turrets. It looks like you modded another game and took footage of it; which game is that? Homeworld maybe?

I'm sure most of us would agree that the Minmitar ships look like scrap but still the Ragnarok in my opinion is one of the most frightening and amazing ships in New Eden. To face a fleet of them looking like a floating ctiy of fortresses raining down destruction with their immense cannons would cause me to shit my pants.

Actually, something's been nagging at me... the part where they show small ships flying out of a Hel supercarrier (1:02).. I notice those are Firetails and Slashers (or Slasher-based Tech 2s). Now, I'd not say a supercarrier can't carry that many frigates, but I'd more realistically expect Einjerji and/or Tyrfing, which are actual fighters and fighter bombers. Frigates are, well, frigates. And although they are maneuverable, they are not strike craft. Wonder which source that footage is from..

Though, looking at the Ragnarok, I have a hard time telling where any panels are, unlike with ships like the Hel, Tempest, and Hurricane which have rather obvious panel-like structures. I'd also wager a guess they're more effective at harnessing the sun's power than our current solar technology... assuming, of course, our current solar technology can be improved upon. It is a bit arrogant to just assume it can't, though.

And they do talk about it as if each 'race' spent much time on their new 'homeworlds' before rediscovering space flight. Suffice to say, there are many factors.

Personally, I think the ships are well-built... the materials just generally have a bit of a worn look to them. Doesn't stop them from being able to tank like a boss, though, be it armor or shields (though, of course, Amarr will generally out-armor-tank and Caldari will generally out-shield-tank, but it is rather apparent the advantages of the Matari's designs are their versatility).

Besides, nobody laughs once they get their asses handed to them by a 'cane fleet.

@ObbieTheII That was part of the Tyrannis trailer, which features a mixed race capsuleer battle. No race divide, but apparently there are other things people can fight over too (imagine that).

Anyway, not all Matari supporters fly exclusively Matari ships. They usually do prefer their ships have a "No Slaves Were Used in the Manufacturing Process of This Ship" sticker. It's how I buy my Amarr ships!
