Yup, vibrations are caused by the L1 Lumbar bone in your spinal cord. Its nerve endings that are stimulated when your falling asleep. OBE are still fascinating though.

Great video! I have wondered about this and I agree with you. I have not traveled very far at all, but my fears of breaking the silver cord abated after persistent travel. 50 years! That's great. It's been 1 and a half for me.

I don't have a silver cord and it's not cause "I am not ready", but because it is belief based. I know someone who said he has broken it only because it kept him close to the body. I'd have broken it too, had I had one.

I highly doubt the existence of any silver cord. I've been having OOBEs and SP for a year and I have never seen this silver cord, although I believed in it. The transitions from Lucid dreams to OOBEs and vice versa has shown me that there's no silver cord or astral body. You can change shapes in OOBEs. The astralbody is a tool for you to get the information from the "astral" environment. How else would you get the info without the body we are all so used to? We are just a point of consciousness.

Hello there! I am glad you have come to be before going to many other sources. There are many stories about AP that are totally false. You can always come back to your body. @bcolemaqn16 well weed opens your chakras in the beginning but later it is most possible that it disbalance them.you should ask yourself how do you feel with the weed smoking and chakras.I suggest you not to try astral p wile high,it is a great feeling when you master it with no weed.I have been smoking weed and have done all I wanted to do so think for yourself,ask yourself and listen to the answer!peace!

I tried to cut the silver cord while I was in the body by my will power (willing for that to happen), I know it might be few mm in length, but anyways I tried. I got sick quickly and felt ill and so I stopped.

In like 30 mins I felt normal again. So I realized that silver cord reconnects and can not be broken while the physical body is alive.

Nothing can cut the silver cord while the physical body is alive and even if something can the silver cord quickly reconnects.

Now both of you can probably agree with the following: Our memories are stored in our brains. If our brains stop recording, we have no chance of remembering our OBEs, once we wake up. AP is defined as leaving the body while the brain is still in record-mode. 2nd: Once you mastered AP, spontaneous SP is a good thing, since it can be used as a springboard to AP

Thank you! I always thought that the real you astral projected. I only did this once and it seemed my body was a kind of animal that only cared about it's survival and seemed completely uninterested in anything else including me! It had hundreds of roots attached to the bed, which dissolved instantly when I moved.

@lurkymerc I suggest not to get into astral projection. You can move in the spiritual world but do it through God through Jesus. If you do it outside of God you are running the chances of being possessed by devils and you dont want that. Get salvation build a relationship with Jesus and he will take you places that wont freak you out like that.

Note: The term "out of body" assumes that your in your body to begin with thus all you do is try get away from your body during your astral projection attempts, which causes you to focus on your body and thus lead to the failure of the attempt. So the term "astral projection" is better suited to be used..
