Since the air engine converts compressed air into power just like a turbo does, the entire engine is like a hyper-efficient turbo. A NORMAL turbo would just slow it down.

m thinking of using elecgtricty to compress h2 and o2 and run off that no pumps
and ignite both after going through twin motors. to preheat the gas.

volume is 6 liter 220 bar(3190 psi). you can drive maybe 30 minutes. no we didn't use a vane motor

what is the pressure tank volume and psi and how long can it accelerate? are you using a vane motor?

what if you attached a turbo so that not all the air is lost... kind of like a generator?

That wouldnt be a bad idea. except it would make your engine run slower.
