Even worse was the episode a few days before this, when Susan said Dani was just like Betsy because Betsy was aggressive in going after Craig. BIG LIE. Betsy was never a desperate woman. Craig is the one who did the chasing, trying to kill her true love Steve in the process. The re-written history of Passanante's fantasies is insulting.

Emily is Dani's aunt because Emily's sister Betsy is her mother. Emily and Betsy are Dan's daughters.
