Johnson was encouraged to run for President by Green Party people who had taken notice of his 04 Gubernatorial run in WV, during which he won ballot access for the Mountain Party. He used his Presidential campaign to publicize the environmental catastrophe occurring in his home state. Even usually eco-conscious Greens did not know the degree of devastation going on in West Virginia until Johnson began his national campaign. He's about the environment...and the Constitution.

Greens have good values and people, but I don't think they have the answer to fixing a broken system. I'm glad to see this candidate, he's an appealing person, but what's the story with him being the candidate for president, I thought it was Cynthia McKinney.

Btw, I think there should be a position between "pro-life" and "pro-choice". While terminating a pregnancy at 2 weeks clearly isn't murder, doing it at 7 months should be regarded so.

You know Honda, I was a strong supporter of Ron Paul from *before he entered the presidential race*. You need to calm down. You make too many assumptions about me, and you also might want to check embryology, to at least understand other people's views, even if you disagree with them. Actually, I am OPPOSING the Green parties "pro-choice" stance here.

sorry dude but i aint calmmin down. really i could care less bout abortions right now. what gets me fired up is folks who want to be babysitted and controled by the feds. they have abused their power and destroyed the constitution. there is a way that can happen! what we have to do is get the power back in the hands of the individual soverign states as our founding fathers intended. It is my opinion that the only way this can be done is secession from the federal empire. we have to assert our independance and not participate in their services and create our own state-run laws and services. this so called nation is actually a union of 50 nations that should not be ruled by a foreign central power in washington, dc
