  • Love your vids

  • great video!

  • my dad gave me a browning for chrismas.

  • quick question that id love your opinion on. I have a tactical moss 500 that i love to shoot all kinds of targets with including skeet, "even though its not made for that" I want to put a holographic red dot site on it and was wondering if you think that'd work for clay pigeon shooting as well? Im very curious, if u could let me know as soon as poss i'd apprec it, thx!!

  • thanks for the tips and learnings too men..your great simple and humble..

  • Hey man love all your vids. I was wondering if you consider a 12 gauge shotgun a good primary for SHTF.

  • I thought any rifle/long gun with a pistol grip was illegal... where do you live?

  • I just wish Winchester would resume production of the 1300 Defender Series. It was a good weapon to have if things ever got rough where I live.

  • i got a rem 870 express mag w/ a synthetic stock, but its foregrip is wobbly, anybody know how to fix it?

  • AirsoftVeteran96, I just checked mine and it does the same. I don't believe that its anything to worry about, the pump needs space to move to prevent jamming.

You could check your retention nut. If that's tight it will still rattle a little bit, again for reliability.

    Hope that helps.

  • if ur browning is a gold trigger it's pretty much the same as my dad's main hunting shotgun.

  • Nice Video I need more info on Good HD Ammo

  • my 12 gauges are the other woman in my house.....

  • Thats an outstanding 1300 you got there. i've been looking for a gun myself for home defense, but handgun laws here are horrid. so i figured a good alternative would be a shotgun, especially since they are so much cheaper. anyways, i cant seem to find any 1300's around, so i've been considering a mossberg 500 or a maverick 88, any thoughts?

  • Excellent as usual.

  • gotta love shotguns

    got a remington 870 express 20 gauge

just picked up a vintage 12 single shot...love it.....

great for home defense ,& fun as heck for target shooting ......

  • Great video man. I was never to big on shotguns until I got a Mossberg 500A tactical for home defense. Since then I love them. 30 bucks will get you 100 rounds and 100 of clays, you can't beat that kind of price for fun.

  • These two videos convinced me to make my first gun a shotgun (mossberg 500) - and I was not lead astray. Especially when you showed what ammo prices could be like (at walmart). I hadn't known before it could be so affordable.

    Thank you!

  • Nice auto 5 man.

  • Another Semi worth looking at is the Mossberg 930 SPX... it's got some tactical addons that make the price great value. Some need a good clean and some full power ammo before you use low recoil ammo in them, but mine seems to shoot "lite" rounds right out of the box.. smooth as anything. I'd like to buy another but can't justify having two lol.

  • Great video man,as for a good reliable and inexpensive semi auto 12gauge I recomend you the Remington SPR 453,I got mine at wally world for $320 and im very impress with it,there are several vids on here look them up.you wont regrete it.

  • Thank you very much for the info man , I'm going to look into it right now.

  • holy shit i love that browning... very nice condition. i have one..12g..not the light model, and def not that good of condition. my paw paw says he picked it up in '53. he had an adjustable choke installed about 7 years ago and it works great! he gave it to me a couple of years back. i still shoot that thing all the time, works like a charm and has never jamed. check it out if you would like. its in my "showing off?" video. once again man.... very nice!

  • nice A5, i have one too. its an older belgium made one i bought at a gun show years back for pheasant excursions and it still shoots like new. to bad they don't make them anymore, their like the 1911 of shotguns.

  • GREAT VIDEO DUDE. THANKS FOR THE INFO.

  • good videos. Keep it up. btw- taking my daughter to shoot some clays tomorrow!! Cant hardly get my a5 away from her.

  • Yet another great video. They just keep getting better. I love my Mossy500.

  • Very well put together video series...no surprise there! =]

Great work Mike keep it up!

Love the shooting clips with excellent editing! Another *****

  • Thanks Harry and welcome back to the old USA man , how did your trip go?

  • Nice work, thanks

  • Thanks for another great vid!

I've gone with an 870 as my home defense shotgun. I dream about a Benelli M4 but with that pricetag I'll have to wait for a loto win!

  • lol I dream about it to man.

  • Great videos, Mike. Very informative and entertaining. I've learned a lot, thanks!

  • do u have a soldiers of fortune magazine on your coffee table?

  • No why you ask?

  • Same here.

  • that browning is so beautiful

    nice vids

  • good job kicked!..nice subject...yeah im really considering getting my first shotgun simply because of the ammo availability...any suggestion for a good home defense / range shotgun?

  • Well I'm sure most people would say get a mossy ( Mossberg ) but I have always been a fan of either the Winchester 1200/1300 or Remington 870.

I think they hold their own very well with any mossy shotgun and for the most part they are about $100 bucks cheaper.

Just my opinion man , use whatever you feel best.

  • Any gun is better than being unarmed. There really is a no huge decision to be made about home defense shotguns. I prefer my Winchester 120 [budget 1200] because of the rotating bolt speed pump and reliability, but the two other solid options are a Rem 870 or Mossberg 500/590

  • Great video once again. I have to put up a shotgun video now! I wont even attempt to top you though. 5 stars

Recently got the Mossberg M590A1 and im doing some "tacticool" stuff to it. What make was the flashlight with the grip tab? Id like that as an addition to my shotty.

  • The flashlight itself is just a cheap surefire G2 with a pressure switch but works very well with the set-up.

Swwet man , let me know if you do make a shotgun vid.

  • great vid they just get better and better.

  • No problem man , thanks for the kind words.

  • excellent, thanks for the vids.

  • For about $500, you can buy a Stoeger 2000 Defense.

They are licensed by Benelli to use the Inertia Driven system (like the Benelli m2). Obviously they are less pretty and less polished than a Benelli m2 Tactical, but for around $400 less, why not?

    Great vid.

  • Your talking about the Model 2000 right? I been looking at maybe getting me one of those because of the cheaper price but am a little iffy about it.

  • Can you talk about different types of shotgun ammo for defesive purposes.

  • Sure man I'll put it on the " To Do " list.

  • Yeah.

I've asked around and people said that the Stoeger 2000 is really nice and really reliable, but I've never used one personally so I can't say for sure.

I might buy one within the next month or two and I'll post a video and tell you what I think.

  • Thanks man if you do get one I would really appreciate.

  • Your videos are always top notch and entertaining. Thanks!

  • I watched both videos and even though I am familar with all the concepts covered, I think that they are an excellent source of information for the first time shotgun buyer. You were to the point and no BS. A++

  • Thanks man , I try to keep things simple and fun.

  • i dont mean to sound political or anything, but i cant wait until this war is over. i miss my cheap ammo!

  • HAHA!! Awesome that you watch Hickock's videos as well....can that guy shoot or WHAT? Good gravy he's got an eagle eye.

...also, we're gonna have to chip in and get you a boom mic and a mini-DV camera. I want more videos, and more quality from my kitb2k vids!

As always, great video...awesome shotgun primer for the uninitiated. 5/5, keep truckin'

  • lol thanks man but hold onto your money casue the way things are looking you may need it.

Hell ya I been watching old Hicock's videos for sometime now and that old guy can shoot and then some.

Its always great seeing a oldder guy show us young bucks how it is done.

  • Prepare to laugh everybody. Dumb question coming your way. I saw a movie called Desperado staring an actor named Antonio Banderas the other day and in the movie he had a "mini" double barreled shotgun. It was almost a pistol but in shotgun form. Does this fire arm exist or was it created by Hollywood?

  • You're thinking about a Derringer-style handgun. Some people also referred to them as a 'pepperbox' (as John Wayne did in True Grit). Some have two triggers, one for each barrel, and some have one, and all shots are fired simultaneously (I've seen odd ones in dual, quad, and other various forms).

Either way, what you're thinking of is most likely a pocket pistol.

However, it is possible to take a double-barrel shotgun and cut a great length of barrel off, to where it resembles a pistol.

  • Ah I just did some quick checking (as I'd never seen the film, so didn't know how 'big' the gun in question was)...

Banderas's character carries a Rossi Overland Double Barrel that has had its barrels and some of it's buttstock sawed off to make it very compact.

So yes, you COULD make one of those (that is, you asked if it could exist....yes, it could, though the one in the movie is, in fact, a prop, and more than likely wouldn't fire live rounds).

  • Nice music, very epic! For "affordable" semi-autos I hear good things about the FN SLP and Mossberg 930 SPX

  • once again man awesome keep um comin

  • Is that a Mossy 590 youve got there? I have one & its a great blaster for the price. If its absolutely gotta be blown all to Hell a 12 gauge slug is hard to beat.

  • Excellent. Thanks so much.

  • i have a winchester 1300xtr in 20 gauge i wish i could find a extended mag tube for it and make it into a defender type got any idea were i might have some luck finding one???

  • what do you think about the saiga twelve gauge?

  • Well I did once own a Saiga 20g a few years back but ended up selling it cause the magazine would mess up and jam up the firearm when shooting.

I'm not saying the Saiga's are bad shotguns but I never had much good luck with my saiga 20g

  • love the vids mike! been suscribed to you since january and the vids helped me find my first firearm :) thanks bro

  • No problem man , I'm glad the videos helped and I hope you enjoy you first firearm man

  • love it,

makes me want to go out and shoot up some milk jugs

  • still loving all your vids man, keep em coming :)

  • Awesome video Mike! Good shooting too!

  • thanks CLD

  • great video as always.

  • i wanna know more bout auto shotguns

  • I am kind of surprised you do not have a Saiga 12 gauge shotgun, personally that gun has been my absolute favorite gun to shoot, especially with a 20 round drum.

    Great video like always man.

  • Auto-5 antique? Surely you jest! It was produced from 1903 to (IIRC) 2001, when it was dropped due to costs, not for any inherent weakness. The Benelli autos are nice, but IMO they are overpriced. If you compare one to your Auto-5 you will find the Auto-5 has a higher build quality. About the only thing a Benelli has over the Auto-5 is that it does not need to be adjusted to the power level of the ammunition. Still, the Auto-5 was used in both the Malaysia and Rhodesian wars, and was well liked.

  • well what if his is from 1903? then it could be an antique i guess lol.

  • lol well I don't think its that old but I think its pretty old since its been handed down twice ( Me being the 2nd )

  • Im suprised u dont have a Remington 870 in ur collection. My shotguns I have a Remington 870 12gauge, Mossberg 500 12 gauge and the new england firearms 20 gauge single shot

  • I did have a 870 once but when my bro moved down to GA I gave him it since he didn't have a self defence firearm at the time.

  • Excellent video!

  • okay thats it i'm off to the range

  • lol good to hear

  • GREAT shotgun vids!

  • excellent! hickok45 vids are a definite recommendation. good work love the vid!!!

  • Yep hickok45 is a great shot and really shows us young bucks how it is done.

  • After seeing the Browning, I shutting the computer down and taking mine out right now. Keep up the good work man...

  • lol

  • Great reviev. Irealy like my shotguns.specialy my Benelli Nove pump.

Mayby i shall take it with me tomorow on the range when Mr Rugersix coming to visit me.

  • Ohh ya Mr.ruger6 is over your way , tell him I said what up.

  • Your editing has got alot better. This is probably your best video yet.

I was thinking about buying a benelli supernova. But I want to use my Knoxx recoil system. I don't think you can change out a stock on a Benelli SuperNova. Do you know?

  • Thanks man , I really took my time editing this video and overal I like how it turned out.

No I didn't know that man

  • I've been shooting .22s to keep cost down.Good idea shooting shotgun while we wait for the rush for ammo to die down.Great shooting great video thanks.

  • Well 22's is a grea way to go also man , thanks for watching

  • These two videos were well made.

  • You keep getting better and better with every vid Mike, keep doing what you do!

And yea, +1 on Hickok, great guy.

  • Thanks for the support man

  • Outstanding.

  • Nice vid as always... don't be too ashamed of that beautiful A-5... I'd take one over a benelli any day of the week. :)

  • Ohh I'm not ashamed I just baby it much and if I ever got a benelli I would beat the hell out of it.

  • Let me ask you something. Can you do a video in loads? I have a 12 gauge semi auto tactical and I am going to train (more just to get out with the guys) and 00BUCK & 000BUCK is so expensive if you want to shoot a lot. What other round would be good for target practice other than 00 & 00BUCK and Slugs?

  • At walmart they have 100 round boxes of bird shot for about $20-$25. You may want to go that route.

  • Yep I agree , thats the cheapest way to go

  • Part 1 should be up soon everyone.

    Thanks for watching

  • That guy Hickok's got great Glock vids, plus that setup he's got in his backyard is sick!!

  • Great vid and good shootin.

  • We got one of those brownings for sale at my shop but, yours is in better condition.

    Oh btw nice video

  • sweet

    12ga my personal fav
