my bad i forgot to mention this. To get back, simply save and quit your game. Now, the next time you start it again, you will begin by arriving on the isle of ember.

well if you dont destroy the boulder, i have managed to use that as a target to jump attack back but its almost impossible. if you are crazy and really bored, you can use your boomerang to push a chuchu from the other side of the island to use to jump attack back. but all you reall have to do is save and quit. then when you restart you will begin arriving at the island of ember dock. and again this is my discovery to all who read this!!
