@DLAbaoaqu I still have the SNES, the CV4 cartridge, and play that motherfucker 1 - 3 times. And for some odd reason I never get impaled by the spikes on B - 2, I usually fall to my death. I hate the part where the floating boulders actually GO to the spikes before meeting that skeleton pterodactyl.

I do believe the first stage is a rendition of Beginning, however written in a major progression rather than a minor and diminished progression heard traditionally with a typical castlevania game...

Great videos! Get the tracks from the Japanese version of Castlevania III for Famicom / FDS on there... they sound much ballsier (and better IMHO) than the American version (Castlevania II though, different story). You should be able to find the NSF files for it out there... it's called "Akumajo Densetsu" in Japanese.
