did this exhaust come with a y pipe or no? do you have test pipes or no? i have test pipes and car is already raspy just wondering how it would sound with both
It sounds AMAZING when it isn't rasping, but from like 2500-5500 it rasps terribly. I went with a 3" single and NEVER looked back, best sounding exhaust on the VQ
mine Z using this exhaust too. after installing the test pipes it sounds terrible awful.rasp all the way from 3k-4.5k rpm. try view this clip again and listen carefuly, this exhaust sound just like and empty can....
This exhaust sounds much better when the car is fully warmed up and everything. The raspy part only occurs during heavy load when the engine is cold. I have this setup and it's pretty deep toned with no rasp when warmed up.
The camera must make it sound raspy, but there is no rasp in person. When I put test pipes on, is when it got CRAZY raspy. I'll try to dig up that clip and post it up, for a comparison.
Thanks! I ended up getting rid of it, I'm running a 3" single now. I went with test pipes, and it made the apexi WAYY too raspy. I'll post up some vids sooner or later

I didn't have test pipes at the time, when I put them on, it sounded like SHIT. I had to change up exhausts.

Nice vid, I thing the apex n1 exhaust is one of the best sounding exhaust for 350Z.
