Yes I can personally say I have seen a FAR bigger Halibut come up than you ever have, and YES that Halibut could break your leg, no doubt about it. I've had a little 20# smack your foot and Ill tell you what it hurt like hell! That fish is near 60-70#. If you don't shoot them, that fish will go ape shit in the boat.
