By the sea side was a girl for the girl were parents for the parents were a home for the home were a set of windows a door a sestroyer in the sea targetting passers by by the sea side 4, 5, 7.., fall on the sand the girl survived this time a hand of mist ..from god saved her

هده القصيدة بتحكي عن بنت ماتوا كل اهلها قدامها في غزة عند الشاطىء............

١- محمود درويش كان شاعراً فريداً عن باقي شعراء عصره. لأنه ألف ما يسمى في عصرنا هذا ( الشعر الرمزي ). ألشعر الرمزي هو كتابة كلِمات وجُملات شعرية تُعني أو تقصد شئ يختلف عما تراه العين ويقرائه اللسان او تسمعه الأذن. إنه شعر الصوت ألمعنوي أللذي يرنُ في صمتٍ داخل رأس الفرد. على سبيل المثال: أنت تحبُ فتاة ولكنه لا توجد عندك الجراءة لتعلمها فتأتي بأقوالٍ غير مباشرة. هذه الأقوال تظهر في عدة الوان وتبعث السامع يتساءل. لهذا السبب تهجم البعض على محمود لقول هذا و لقول ذاك.

٢- أعتقد أن نموذج محمود درويش الشعري الغير مباشر او الرمزي بُعثَ لأسباب عديدة أهمها كان نشوئه في بيئة غير ديمقراطية وبعيدة كل البعد عن حرّيّة الكلمة وعلىَ فيها الحكم العرفي الأسرائيلي الرزيل بكل صفاته الفاشستيّه والقتل والأستعباد للفلسطينين في الأراضي ألمحتله. لربما كان من الصعب ابدال الرئ المباشر خوفاً من السجن والتعذيب والموت. (( المباشر و الغير مباشر = ألموت والحياة )).

Mahmmoud Darwish was very unique poet in his writing. He actually invented what is called now the SYMBOLIC POETRY (ألشعر ألرمزي), in which the writer can writes something that has a different meaning than what is actually written. As we have heard him here in this beautiful poetry, the girl is actually Palestine. This type of poetry can take many shapes and forms, and can fit any human personality and situation. That's why it was translated into 22 languages, and was loved world wide.
