Depends how bad. My laptop has a bad CPU, but even I am able to run this game ONLINE with no lag at all against players in Europe. So yeah, most computers, even crappy ones, will have little trouble running this.

Yes this game is great. But i would say the same.

I wish there were more stadiums and maybe some mods for the maps (so roads and stuff looks different with skins) And also the music. It would be nice if there were more

People insist on making ridiculously unfun tracks that are damn near impossible and then they usually have like a 5 minute timer so if you've never raced the track before you spend 4 minutes trying to figure it out. Not to mention the stupid obstacles that your car gets hung up on bringing it to a complete stop forcing you to start all over. You can paint your car, but with limited tools. Yes, it's free but it'll just piss you off until you uninstall it. I love racing games but this one is crap.

to be good at this game you have to know how to slide. sliding keeps your speed while making you turn in the corners, try pressing left and braking, when you have enough speed. when you master the sliding, the game gets a lot more interesting, and you can finally win multiplayer-races

Hey, this is one of the best racing games around. Its not a simulation ofc, but pure online-stunt-phun. Never get enough of it, and with 1 000 000 tracks you never get bored.

You are given a small template. And unless you buy United Forever, every stage will have that same-y looking template. Which means it at times can lack variety.

It's sad that this game isn't really popular. Only 90,000 players in the U.S. Worldwide is around 1,200,000 players. I'm usually playing against people from West Europe.

To put it lightly, this game is Super Mario Kart for adults or people who like a challenge. Of course, the interface, graphics, and gameplay are far better than any Mario Kart game. Every class of car handles differently, and the tracks/physics provide a hell of alot of excitement.

It appears you didn't get it. When I said "several types of tracks," there were different styles of racing. When I said "one seems similar to the other," it's like a majority of the CUSTOM (keyword: CUSTOM) tracks seem to hit the same template with little variety.

I reviewed this because people might be curious. There's nothing wrong with reviewing a free game.

The thing is, every cool idea in custom tracks have been done, like tunnels, weird things for weird purposes, etc. Unfortunately I don't have the (original) game anymore, it was too big to get from the old computer to the replacement. the comment on "played 1 played them all" couldnt be more wrong.. i noticed that you did the review within the 1st two weeks since the UK was still ranked 3rd and that your offline rank was below 6,000th in the USA.. meaning your online rank would have to be below 50,000th.. meaning you don't unfortunatly have the skills on the game to really comment on what makes tracks good and what makes them stand out from the crowd.. aside from that it was a good review.

I agree with the custom tracks statement this guy made. TMN mappers have a tendency to create really shitty tracks that takes way too long to master. That's why I usually look for standard map servers. It's way more fun!

no offense, but being unable to complete tracks normally says 1 of 2 things: the track is rediculasly hard or your just a noob... normally its the latter, trackmania has been out for a long time now, the good players go stupidly fast.. the bad players meanwhile moan about the good tracks because they are not fast enough to understand its beauty.

This game popped up in my Steam window the other day, but I was afraid of downloading it because I keep hearing it has Starforce.

Since you didn't have any issues, I guess it doesn't have it, heh.
