check out my new bike if you want cool, big, and reliable. not knocking h/d just wouldn't own or work on one. i prefer riding all season every season.
my first street bike was exactly like this. I even had the same accessories. I sold it though before I went into the Marines. I now own a Moto Guzzi Griso which I love to death(and it sounds like a chevy big block) but I do miss the cruising ability of a Harley. So I'm buying another one, hopefully just like my old one.
what year is that harley? i love it man . the light and the lower fairng looks great. ok so what year and model? this will be my next bike. gong to buy in the next month
i have had big fast sports bikes and i now have a harley the same as this, and i much preffer riding the harley, i wouldnt go back to a sports bike now, they are much to uncomfortable to ride compared to a harley.
I worked for Kawasaki, and rode just about every Hondayamasaki out there, and my Harley is far the most solid bike I've rode. I'll never own another metric after owning a Harley, just the attention from the ladies is worth it. Ride On!
SpeedTriple59, someone hit a nerve...lol, I'm sure the block was joking, don't be so aggresive, save the abuse for the dick head drivers that cut bikers up!
Fuckin Twat..proper motorcycle, proberbly brought it with his pension, this is why i cant stand plastic Hardley riders,no fuckin idea, possibly first bike after his cbt..Only on a summers day ayh pops...
I am sick of the Jap bike owners crying about how sick they are of Harley owners that are proud of their bikes.
The only reason you are whining like a bitch is cause you know you got screwed when you bought that Jap bike. You took it home, you looked up the value and you realized it dropped 30% between the dealership and the house.... It's your own damn fault, quit your cryin' you pussy! Maybe when you grow up you will buy a "proper motorcycle"!
I know my times arent exact and i cant remember exactly where i saw it but in a drag test on bitumen at 100kmh(60mph) denim lasts less than a second and i think you get about 6-8 seconds out of good hide. Skin falls into the millisecond range. Doesnt matter where you from Brian that should be clear.
its for protection. leather is good at protection from abrasions such as asphalt.
I used to push a mop around the Local ER when i got of High School. The EMTs brought in a sport biker rider, with a bad case of road rash, dude looked like hamburger. Of course no protective riding gear, just shorts and t-shirt.
Good good. I rlly want to get a Harley when I turn 18. I have heard they are unsafe, but I can't imagine them being that horrible if you just do what you are suppose to.
well im still a new rider myself. And i also want to get a harley. Them being unsafe... im not sure about that. Most of the people i know that own harleys have never mentioned anything like it being.. unsafe.
Im sure if you got on Harley Davidson's site they should give a listing of the MPG for all their bikes in the specs. I remember the 1200 from the dealership getting something like 60mpg.
Hi there, how many gears does a 1992 xlh sportser have, I rekon 4 but my mate says they are 5 speed ( or do you include the pinion gear?0 whos correct?
Thanks, I just found it on the website. It looks great with the headlight surround and the small deflector totaly changes the look. I thought I had my mind made up on an 883 low but this has got me thinking. I'm in Australia and this model doesn't look like it will be included in our 07 lineup. I better get cracking. Thanks for the info.
I love this Harley. Can you please tell me exactly what model it is. It looks like a 2002 XL883R with some extra bits but I'm not sure. I would be grateful for any info.

Are accidents common on those things?
BrianRabil 3 years ago
well odds are he was trying to be a badass and impress someone (speeding, wheelie, whatever).
However id say riders on their Hayabusas or ZX6Rs are going to try and push the edge on their bikers more than a guy on a fat bob or a 1200.
but if you dont do crazy things on your bike, you would have no more to worry than say accidents in a car.
