  • His birthday is on the seventh and he used it as his stage name as well

  • @ZigZagMcC He was born on September 7th (07/07/1972)

  • @Charara94 September is 09 =P

  • Slug always uses things in 7s in his verses. This just a coincidence or does it have a deeper meaning I wonder?

  • Slug the carpenter, hitting those unseen nails right on the head... Got to say slugs verse here makes the track... Damn, it makes the fucking genre...

    Slug -- the modern philosopher.

  • @Baxxter101 Gotta agree. Slug's verse is so simple and short, but perfectly sums up life and speaks the truth. The most insightful hip-hop artists these days are basically the whiteys. Slug, Aesop Rock, and Eyedea (R.EYE.P) are easily some of the best.

  • all I ask for is nothing less. . .

  • Yes, that's all that needs to be said. This song is truly God Like.

Thank You Legends, For Producing This Amazing Music. [=

  • Anyone notice that if you listen to this song you can literally jst cry cuz its true on every level

  • It's a shame that more people don't know about the Living Legends.

  • What I like most about this track is the overall vibe that can b categorized as respect to the movement I call rap. Growing up listening to rap groups like the Fugees Tribe Called Quest Wu Tang Killer Bees I developed an understanding for what real rap is even if some of the groups and rappers I listened to made it to the "mainstream" I never gave a fuck whether or not what I was listening to was acceptable in society. I just kept doing my thing and eventually I found this group. It's ashame th

  • Under Ground........ Just Love.......

  • all I have to say is even if you hate youtube because of the retarded fools you gotta love it at the same time. me as a 20 year old austrian kid could never get the chance to find this masterpiece. and nothing less. peace

even if it was 280 million still wouldnt be enough. oh well at least theres still a few out there that now wat real music is this is incredible

  • Life trough death, mans final lesson ......

  • Scarubs verse closes out this song/album perfectly. I was able to tell this to him when I saw him with LL about 10 years ago. full circle back at me and he is rapping on a beat I produced. its crazy how small a world we really live in once creative/positive minds stick together

  • 10 ignoranuses somehow showed up to this page

  • right ahaha this is dope ass music . who ever doesn't listen to real hip hop is wack !

  • whoever Dislikes This shTT , aint even close to knowing wassUpp wit the doPe musik! ;D haa

  • Underground forever backpacker for life!!!! Don't be a sheep. Swim against the current.

  • @jdolton530 i'm with u brother have been for the last 10yrs fk mainstream

  • the beat should stay how it was before the drums come in. that part brings back so many fuckin memories.

  • Wow that beginning sound was just like WOOOOSSSHHH it was like a contact high xD

  • hello from Romania

    great song:D

  • This underground stuff really connects to real things in real life unlike the mainstream shit they feed the world. This is poetry reality of life in simple words. Living Legends are sick but in this song Slug comes and kills his part! What he says about the events from birth to death cannot be summarized in better words. 7 simple steps!! Now that is fucken talent!

  • Man I love listening to these guys. Is it just me or does everyone else just feel that connectedness to their pain. Being the out-casts, they had time to analyze the world around them instead of other pointless things and how it works, thats why I like listenen to them because thats what I was like as a kid and these guys are already older and I'm starting to find out to just enjoy life because you'll never find an answer

remember, appreciate everything you have, and keep it real.

  • @Lwyte17 one of the best comments I have ever read. almost better than the song.

  • @JacobAndreasSnedingR I love when the beat drops..comes at the perfect time

  • :)))

  • i wish they had a music video to this

  • Damn I haven't heard this song in a while. Forgot how sick they are. Guess that makes me a noob. :/

  • Slug is the fucking man,

  • one last breath and everything could be pleasent, life through death-mans final lesson.

  • song is sick

  • you know those type of serious questions

that are asked in a playful manner

so if assumptions evolve they can act like it's a joke

    damn

  • @SpecialBrowny74 exactly , so sick of radio turning it into that, they play 6 "mainstream" songs over and over.. this is music right here.

  • When I hear this song, I get transported to a place so surreal that it transcends all reality in a plane of existence that is simply impossible to reach otherwise

  • yess im at the end of the road :D

  • In the last years, I forget hip-hop could sound like this. Thank you, Living Legends. I remember my first hip-hop record being Cypress Hill. I slowly started appreciating this misunderstood art more and more, and by the time I got internet (2000); I just hunted the internet down for classics (we didn't have YouTube back then, forums/irc and shit.

    Damn, I've grown old.

  • 5 people want Justin Bieber's nuts

  • if they were to make music vids to all thier classics they would revive hiphop.. and the legends legacy would continue...but thats just my opinion

  • I was searching for never falling down and after i listened to that it brought me here

  • i agree with ganjaweedman420 theres no way we will find like 90% of what all hip hop artists have put out before they became known and mainstream before that all them were dropping rhymes in the street (mind you im talking about the real mc's no impersonators) and on that note you can make your own claims for whose on those lists

  • 5 people listen to gucci mayne

  • @vacation942 murs spits second... last dude is scarub

  • Comment removed

  • @HighlyCombustible1 its scarub not murs...murs is the second dude...It goes The Grouch, Murs, Slug, Sunspot Jonz, then Scarub.

  • It don't matter how much you know, music is beyond ego, beyond being good or bad and beyond all borders. It is universal, and this, unlike most songs groups put out today, is actual music.

  • This is one of the most beautiful beats I've ever heard. I could fall asleep eternally to this song.

  • blod1981, you'e ignorant. First of all, there is no end of the road to hip hop, its eternal and unlimited. And second, if you got linked here it means absolutely nothing. Don't even try to argue cause I guaruntee I know more about hip hop than you.

  • @reed303 Janice13 is a soulja boy fan. One day she ends up here. Linked or listened her way here? Yeah, exactly. It means something. And if you wanna put it in any other way, like hiphop is blablabla or blabla, then that's just a matter of semantics. You guarantee you know more about hiphop than me? Kaliber44, 3eme oeil, MBMA, Klashnekoff, Koopsta Knicca.

  • I just realized that the beginning is from Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory.

Veruca Salt: "Snozberries? Who ever heard of a Snozberry?" Willy replies: "We are the music makers, and we are the dreamers of the dreams." Haha I just wanted to point this out.
