It takes about 15 to 20 rounds of it - long, yes, but it significantly speeds up the process for stat-raising the others since you can raise the speed faster. It also opens up access to the fastest method of them all, the rocket speed method as I call it. If you thought 25 levels in 10 minutes was tough, try 70, of which I'm on the edge of accomplishing (part 5, if I recall, shows 55ish levels in 10 minutes but there's still a faster way that I don't have a video for).
I did want to do that but I think I'll give up in the middle of this process, cos I wanted to make a perfect save, with every units that come to you, master them in every job and raise every stats for everyone, also have max of all possible equipments, but only ramza mastered all jobs, the other units have about 3 mastered classes and no one have any bonus for this glitch. What about the classes you used? And what about Reis, Rafa,... what jobs should I use to raise their stats?
Raising magic attack to the max takes about 25 to 30 tries, and that's assuming your going with a job class with a high magic attack like the wizard. For a true maxing, it's about 40 to 50 rounds, as an estimate, where the magic-poor lancer would max out. Each cycle only takes about 2 1/2 hours (a cycle is basically an hour at phase 1 and 1.5 hours at phase 2 - 0.5 and 0.9 respectively for the fastest possible). Maxing out any stat will take several rounds. The ninja is the best overall.
What if my girlfriend gets mad at me because she thinks I'm cheating at the game? Then she gets mad if I don't use your methods and take too much time to play and level up? It's always something with her sometimes I don't know why we're together.
It's one of play on words. The original method takes 1 hour for phase 1 and 2.1 hours for phase 2, for an average quick run. The rocket speed method halves this time. There's also a warp-speed method, but it's undocumented, but it's only worthy for phase 2 where I trim off another 5 to 10 minutes. I can almost get 70 levels in 10 minutes with it, if that says anything.
wow.. the fastest i ever leveled was in final fantasy VII and that was 25-86 is 40 minutes. sadly i didn't capture it on video for the youtubers. but i was all hyped on monsters..and i was like tripping... i had been up for 24 hours before this preparing my party for the quickest killing crew... Cloud, Cid, and Vincent.. great game really..
Want crazy? Try part 5 of this series - I gain levels at the fastest rate I've ever seen - 56 in 10 minutes. Previously, FF6 held the record, until I learned of the stat-raising trick. On FF6, I go from level 30 to 99 in 80 minutes.... On this game, I go from 1 to 99 in probably 25 minutes (it's longer due to having to disable the enemies first).
how many times you did this level up to 99/ down to 1 with ramza? what jobs did you used?

To all you power-player-haters, it's not an insult. Some people just can't handle the art of optimization. Stormwind Fallacy.

Try 14 to 99 in about 24 minutes. Parts 5 through 7 cover this.
