Damn, I don't think I could even program even a section of a drumloop as incredible as anything in this video. Kudos to you mr Sawka...

Shame he rarely does stuff like this for Pendulum though. Don't get me wrong, I like pendulum and all, but they do tend to give KJ the same drumloop for the whole track. I'd love to see him do something like this on a proper track :D

the difference between jojo and KJ, is jojo sounds like a drum machine, KJ sounds like a guy playing beats you'd find being programmed into a drum machine. And the whole point in not using a drum machine is so it sounds like a guy playing... Both drummers are amazing though. Props to KJ for bringing a new level to Pendulum's tunes too.

Superb. This guy just isn't imitating DnB beats, many people can do that, he is actually a talented drummer who knows what he is doing and is very clever.

Funny thing is, DnB, originally Hardcore, used double speed funk, soul and jazz drum loops, many being the same as what Hip Hop used. All he has to do is learn the old school drumming style and play at double speed. But he is actually imitating the compositions/editing used by the founders of DnB.

iv never real like any of the live shit at a rave just ruins it .. its all about the mix and the mc .. now put another dude on another set of drums with an mc and git them both to stay in time and sound like a mix on 2 deck then ill be very impressed .. i dont spose its impossible but dam wouold take some skill and 2x equaly gifted drum players to pull that one off

And I partailly agree with you, I love live drum and bass (when it's done right) because you can really apreciate the talent on offer and it makes me want to become a better drummer, but if you just want to rave then dj sets are better though if it's someone like B Complex you still end up just standing there amazed at what he's throwing down
