@Supremosis The Titanic does need more attention, but so does a lot of stories. Finnie Walsh, The Lottery, Hamlet (and other Shakespearean works), Horses of the Night, Saya no Uta, Shiki, Ghost in the Shell (big inspiration for The Matrix), Higurashi no Naku Koro ni, Clannad, etc. etc. Yes, I am an anime nerd. But all those stories listed have very good, interpretive storylines.

Avatar was pretty good though, I loved it, if a little unrealistic. The Titanic was also really good.
