2, I'm wondering whether or not to update to 4.01 M33 from 3.90 M33, because I did get 4.01 when it was released but it sucked :) what new stuff is there?

u download a thing called LE recovery it has all the stuff the normal recovery menu has but u can make a pandora and other stuff like that but the pandora part is for fat psp only and u access it by having the psp on normally at the xmb and hold r+the sound button hope this helped! just youtube or google it LE recovery :)

XMB recovery is the recovery menu inside the XMB

the XMB is the fancy term for the main menu

the recovery menu is a tool built into custom firmware to access important files to restore your PSP if it is bricked (inoperable) and many more interesting functions

I've recently been spammed by a SCAM website called PSP Blender. This is a website that claims to give you access to thousands of PSP games and movies, what they don't tell you is that the only thing they give you access to are lists of freely available (and illegal) torrents. hamudydudy1: It was and then it was revoked because of an issue with a certain version of the PS3. I was lucky enough to get it before it was pulled off the online servers. I assume we can expect an updated version to be posted soon, though.

Cripes... just read up on the Photofast. One ad claims that it supports the 8g Micro straight up, but an article I found claimed that you can "stack" 8g cards. I wonder if that would read as one card under the adapter or several (somehow). Hmmm how would that affect music playback and randomization? Sony just needs to crank out a damned 64g card CHEAPLY.

theolon: As far as I know, there are still no plans to replace the Slims with something new. As far as I can tell, there will be no advantage of the Utopia kernel. I think it's more like a dev project proof of concept, something to do just so you can say it can be done and for bragging rights. I don't think anyone would actually want to use the new kernel.

Thanks again for the news. I'm quite glad that CXMB was updated. I'm still waiting for news on the next psp with the hopes of improved speakers and a second analog stick. I think I'm going to watch that April Fool's video again and get my hopes up.

i like to stay caught up with M33 firmware, although the new CFW developers are adding cool stuff like In-XMB Recovery ^_^

i002492: Maybe I will, I dunno. At this point, it's still much more PSP-oriented than PS3. I didn't do much research on PS3, I just added the things I already knew about. I go through every story on several news sites for the PSP news, I'm not sure I'm ready to commit that much effort into the PS3 stories at this point. It's pretty time-consuming.

New PS3 firmware is suck-ish......no music when you play your games.....thats all I wanted it for because I loved that on the 360 and I don't really want to message friends when I am playing Game.....anyone know when/if Sony will let me play music?

jambo310: 2.40 adds the *option* to play music in your games, however the game developer needs to enable it in their game for it to work. So hopefully we will see some game updates to enable it soon.

what's the point updating to 4.01 m33-2 because u only get a internet search and video playback feature which is not very important to me at all and once u update to 4.01 m33-2 some of ur plugins or homebrew application may not work some im sticking with 3.90 m33-2 then when savestate comes out and i like how its works maybe i'll update just maybe ok lol
