Another no thought vid. Upper Egypt was heavily influenced by the interior , Both Sudan and Ethiopia. However, lower Egypt was influenced by the Mediterranean peoples like the sea people, Phoenicia, the greeks ( especially after Alexander) and others. they were a mixed ethnicity. The reference to the Hebrews (Moses) is false too. Even though there were probably some intermingling the Hebrews kept themselves segregated and the Egyptians looked down on them in Joseph through Moses time.

The color of their skin was dark but it does not mean they were African blacks.
Ancient Egyptians did not cover their upper body leaving it exposed to the suns rays, which is why they were dark skinned. In this video you can even see that they had long straight hair and some even had long goatee, this was not possible with African blacks. Jerry curl technology did not exist at the time.

@simbakafiri It is a tragedy that we've lost early African civilisations, and there's no doubt that Egypt had its roots in them, but we have the funerary statue of Khufu, who is clearly black, and of his chief architect Imhotep, who looks potentially European. The point for me is that Egypt was a melting pot; white subjects had black kings and vice versa, and no-one gave a fuck what colour anyone was (until the Greeks). The result was immortality. Lesson there for us, yet to be learned. IMHO.

They maybe had some in them but they were also mixed with the middle eastern genes too. Hence why they didn't have pure african wide noses or you would see them all over their statues.
