@moldypanda @electricmastro You can use a gamecube controller, but you should get a classic controller instead. The b and y buttons on game cube controlers are really far apart and the a button is smack dab in the middle. It makes runing jumps hard as hell to pull off, and if you press a you'll switch or dismount which will most likely ruin the jump and drop you off the cliff.

If you don't have a classic controller, buy one. Trust me.

Apparently the guy who did the music for the Metroid Prime series is doing the music in this game. Though it looks like they're just remixing songs from the original DKC.

I'm sure songs like this one will come off well if the guy who composed for Metroid Prime is on it, but I doubt he'd do other tracks right. There's nothing very concrete on the subject. Donkey Kong Country is back on Wii! With Retro behind the revival, I'm not afraid at all. I just hope they hired David Wise (could it be the reason he recently left Rare to become a freelancer?), maybe even Eveline Fischer as well.

What an E3 for Nintendo, one of the best conferences I've seen over the years. Zelda Skyward Sword, DKC, Kirby, and of course the 3DS. There's even a 3DS remake of Ocarina of Time! And a new Paper Mario too... I could go on and on.

I'm actually not that excited about the 3DS. The whole 3D coming back has made me a little jaded against the concept. My opinion on the 3DS could change when I get to actually see it. From what little info I got, Nintendo seams to be approaching it more intelligently than other companies, but that's only wishful thinking. Everything else seams promising, though I've yet to find a good vid on Skyward Sword.

Yes Nintendo finally had a good E3 unlike the past two years. I was surpsed of what they shown. Tho for me personally Sony's Press Conference better since it had the stuff I care about and I'm a PS3 gamer. Tho i am looking forward to a couple of Wii titles and of course the 3DS with games like MGS 3, LoZ:OoT and Starfox.
