@wizard22moody, the breadth of Oasis of the Seas is 154 ft at waterline while the extreme breadth is 198 ft. For Freedom the figures are 126 and 183 feet, respectively.
I remember watching a show on The History channle that featured a massive future ship very simillar to this. I never thought that I would see a ship as massive as the one in the program, but this ship has affirmed my beliefs that one day it will come true. Truly an amazing ship!
If she is almost 2'000ft long, that means she is almost twice the length of a Great Lakes 1'000 footer!!! That's absolutely AMAZING how the cruise industry grows!!
the way its designed is to resist the weather..... thats mostly why it took years in planning.... finding a way to have an open end. Also the stabalisers (if you've been on a rccl ship u'd know wat they r) should stop any of that.

Not very wide. On Vacations To Go it says that the Oasis's beam is 154 feet.
I think the web has the wrong statistics because the freedom's beam is 184 feet.
