getting the test pipe and magnaflow. i have the fujita intake. yeah i guess im just like every else speed 6 with tthe same mods. lol maybe ill try to switch it up on the bov.
Slightly less 'resistance' in the higher RPM range, but nothing dramatic. No quantifiable data to support any gains... 0-60s were in the 5.1-5.2 range stock, and then consistently in the 5.0-5.1 range with the TP and catback. So really, nothing huge.
CP-E CAI made the biggest difference, shaving over half a second off my 0-60 time, consistently in the 4.6x range!
nice! yeah i have the AEM CAI and i noticed a nice increase along with the SU test pipe. anything else done to the car? cardomain link? id like to check it out
No car domain link, but I was an active member on Mazda6Club (Boost Addict). I did reviews of almost everything I added to the car, there's some informative stuff there.
The car was totaled out from going offroad in an unfortunate attempt to avoid an accident on the road... At the time of crash, the mods were: CP-E CAI, CP-E Catted DP, MagnaFlow CBE, Forge BPV, CP-E PnP Standback tuned at Church's Automotive Testing. The car made about 285 whp and 307 wtq. It was good for 4 flat 0-60 runs.
Man, I can't remember for the life of me!!! The car was totaled out. I'm fairly positive that the controls on the steering wheel did illuminate. I say this because I remember wondering why they didn't in the WRX I'm currently driving. Haha.
I actually just asked on one of the Mazda forums & someone sent me a pic too. Yes they illuminate, in red actually & it looked cool at night. Thanks and sorry for your loss.
yes the light illuminate on the steering wheel.
