dont say there isnt a bov, you can see it hanging off the ic pipe clear as day. it is a tial and that is the bov you hear, most likely too tight a spring for the small amount of boost he is running.

skippy is right, its neither a BOV or the wastegate. its compressor surge. the turbo is not in its efficiency range with such low boost, and its not even in its RPM sweet spot, you can hear the motor wanting to rev higher(getting into its powerband)

You can hear the BOV at 0:36 of the video. The wastegate makes the loud sound off throttle, open to air. Tial btw

but it doesn't sound like it relieved any air when the throttle was let off. that sound at 0:36 was way after the throttle was let off. but its hard to tell anything from a video though:P
