  • Thank you for your reply. I realized there was a part two after I wrote to you. It's great.

  • Larry,

Thanks for the lesson! You are the real deal, as vintage and authentic as your guitar. The song swings so well, so rhythmic and melodic at the same time. Do you have a video with a part 2 of the tune?

  • @dowaliby1 Thanks for your visit and comment.

Yes, there is a part 2 for this lesson. Give it a listen.

  • This is possibly the hardest thing i have ever tried to do on guitar- to seperate your thumb and two fingers to do something different is soo hard .

  • @aussiesteveable

If it's any consolation, it took me at least a year to separate my thumb and fingers. One day

it happened....I could do it !

    Don't give up.

    Larry

  • i would love to learn more from this song. I know some of it, but have a hard time picking up a bunch of it too. I'm pretty messy with it too.

I hope you do upload more.

  • @trevorm1

I do want to upload more of this Chet classic. Stay tuned ! Keep on pickin' !

  • Nice job Larry, thanks. I remember a " music minus one" record from the sixties..."Play like Chet"...it had Windy & Warm. I too have a G-DEC15...ain't technology grand! And it sits near my Deluxe Reverb as I believe your's does?

  • @pberguy

Yep, I love the G-DEC and the Fender amp....and guitar. Windy & Warm was a long time ago.

    Thanks for visiting and commenting.

  • Wonderful Larry, and yes I vote for a second lesson. I look forward to it!

  • @cabmantim

I will try to finish Windy & Warm soon. Thanks !

  • keep it up! love chet and you are a great teacher. I certainly benefit from your lessons, but I still need to ditch the flat pick and have a lot of practice.

  • @alkalynn1

I ditched the flat pick years ago and now I can't use it at all. (-:
