My 66 gto shares a few pieces of the same sheet metal as a 66 Skylark. For example, their roof lines. The Skylark and GTO have the exact same roof. Same rear pillars, same quarter glass, same window glass in general.
I think he ruined it, It should be looking as original as possible and that interior looks retarded, i hate it... I have a 1971 skylark and the only thing that isn't original is the paint, and at least it looks original...
It almost looked like the car on that one TV show w/Chip Foose were they steal a car and give it a new look and give it back to the owner, totally tricked out. but they did a far better job than this joe.
I would have gone original, but with that said, hats off to the workmanship, nice job!
