@swazzaar The HP your pushing is simple put OK for the amount of money in it. I know a guy here in the states that dropped a prelude engine in his civic hatch and it's running 220 all motor. Throw a turbo and a little body work on it and that thing would be a MONSTER for much less than you have in your car. Just saying.

@EviLMuska your not gonna get much more out of renault 5gt turbo engine as its only 1398cc mine was on the limit back then i dont own the car anymore so this was nearly 6 years ago and im not upto date with the gtt scene anymore but a engine transplant would have been the best route but nothing was cost effective at the time and worth it(not worth the hassle renault clio 1800 16v)i dont think there is a easy engine swap avilable these days anyway

@swazzaar Alright, I'm not dissing on your car man, it's nice (although the body work isn't my style). If that's all you could get out of the engine then fine. I just personally couldn't picture putting 14,000 in a car and spend that much on the looks. Now these days (at least in America) you could get a little car for like 1000-2000, and put the rest of that money into the engine/ect, and come out with something of a track car. It may not look as nice, but it'd get going in a hurry for sure.

@swazzaar They can get the little R5 upto 300ish BHP which is crazy for a 50 year old design of engine the youngest of which are all 20 years old now (unless refurbed) Swazzaar 238 bhp in a R5 GT is something entirely diffrent to all other cars this side of an orginal mini or go cart with 238bhp due to absurd lightness.
