@denoum Friend, God's word says all have sinned...and the wages of sin is death. From the time of your birth till now have you not sinned? Of course you have and me too. If God judges you for every sin then you will go to hell. But Jesus took your sins and became a sinner; He paid the price of sin, which is death and He died. But the power of death could not hold Him and 3 days later He rose again. No man has ever risen from the dead, except Jesus. That is proof He is indeed the Son of God.

But Jesus is the only sinless one and that is why He is qualified to pay the price of sin. This is not about your dad; it's about you. Since you were born till today, have you benn 100 percent holy? If not, then one sin is enough to send you to hell. But Jesus took your sin. Rejecting Him means you want to pay for your sins yourself.

@denoum If you mean the soul that sins die, then you are prepared to go to hell because that is it. You, for example, are not holy and you know. And if God judges you for every crime you commit you will be thrown into hell and me too. So Jesus, the only sinless one took your wickedness and mine and paid the price which is death. But He rose again. However, if you don't want teh price He paid for your wickedness and insist on paying it yourself, then so be it. How is that? It's very simple.

@chine62 In Moses' time when people sinned they offered sacrifices of spotless animals to atone for their sins. But Jesus became our own sacrifice by paying the price of sin once and for all because He was sinless. That is why He is called the Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world. The price of sin is death and Jesus died. But He rose again; meaning He has defeated Satan once and for all because he is the originator of sin. At Calvary He said IT IS FINISHED. He did all for us.

@denoum Jesus died only once and rose again and that is enough to lead anyone who believes in Him to heaven. Jesus said this: I am He that lived and was dead and behold I am alive forevermore and I hold the keys of hell and death. My friend, your own good works cannot save you. Even one sin is enough to send you to hell. But God loves us so much that He sent His Son, Jesus to pay the price for all our sins. Only through faith in Jesus as saviour can anyone go to heaven.
