hey i have this car too!! its so nice, but something is acting funny and when it heats up the engine starts stalling and i dont know how to fix it.. but yah its a sweet car ad drifting in it is amazing
I will post a link on thirsday, cause I havent bougt it yet, I hope it will be as good as it looks. will go there with my father who is a mechanic and already drove one of these for about 8 years, which is worth a lot especially as a student. my plan is to keep it alive till I will earn enough money to put it back to almost new. I cant wait till thursday
the is no rust on the whole body of the car except a 2 two euro peice big spots near the mirror and the windscreen on the right side. thats it, that thing is 24 years old. definately worth the money.
the engine is around 177000km
and its the 136bhp "KV" engine with an afterwards built in kat, so no downthrottlng applied. and that sound, especially when kickin down over 3500 rpm, its beautiful!
Boysen is a german company and if u want i can call them and ask if it is still possible to get one of those exhausts.
The exhaust is quite old and I dun know if u can still get a boysen exhaust for the Audi Coupes nowadays. I'll aks if you want! The homepage is only in german...the english version is under construction..
I would really appreciate if you could ask them about the exhaust! If its not available anymore I can always record the sound from your video and play while Im driving my GT :)
I had a 1983 1/2 and I loved it so much. I would buy one in mint condition if I could find one, but I can't. Any thoughts on where to look? I loved that sound and I miss it. I loved the hard clutch and the tight differential on the shifter/gears. I miss that car to this day.

yes!!!! I bought it!
and I am in love with all of it.
over the weekend I will do some minor repairs cause it wasnt moved for around 5 months till now.
all the important liquids will be changed and the starterengine (the thing which is activated while turning the key) needs acleaning too.

it's enjoying a nice piece of engineering, a piece of (car) history. To me it sounds like music.
I enjoy the simple things in life, a nice day on the beach, a sunset, music, a nice girl giving you a smile, art etc.
This audi is one of those gazilion things that I like. I apreciate these small things.
