Very nice. I'm a banjo picker born and raised in Poplar Bluff Missouri. I live in Florida now, though. Remember Porter Wagoner's song 40 miles from Poplar Bluff?

Great Job! Do you have a place close by named Poplar Bluff? Because we do here in Missouri and there's a fella down there that makes the best mandolins I ever heard. Great tune!

not sure where the title came from.... but evidently one of the orginal sources was Ed Haley.. but i learned it from a dood playing in the clifftop compitition .... he literally tore it up... should have won the compitition in my opinion... i think he was from kentucky... his name is kinda hard to say and spell... nicus papas.. i just call him nic... you can sit and watch him play unlimited numbers of songs, wow.... jack

Oh yeah, Papas is a bad-ass fiddler for certian. But Clifftop's a weird contest anyways. i.e. We (Forge Mountain Diggers) made the finals, twice - go figure!
