  • Don't listen to sick people spreading false info on internet. There is no abuse or drugging in this tiger temple. Tiger sleeps 18 hours a day. Thailand is very warm place. Look at what your cat are doing during summer. They sleep all day long. Tigers are active and moving primarily at night, usually from sunset to sunrise. During the day, tigers are sleepy and not very actice, that is when it is safe for tourists to touch and take pictures. So you doubters, educate yourself a bit more.

  • @Satanizmo No they won't...it's a shit country why would people care...that's the sad thing about Tigers they live in shit countries...

  • WTF ARE THEY DOING TO THE TIGERS?!?!?!

  • Poor Tigers...

  • Temple of lies!!!!!!!!

  • um yeh the hot weather makes anyone sluggish, but these tigers have adapted to living in such heat as with all the other tigers that live in hot places such as thailand, india etc. they have been drugged and are tied to cement blocks and poles. So if everyone can look at the abuse videos of this place then they wont go saying that the monks treat them kindly and with mercy!

  • @jaderz222 Do you have any idea what you're talking about? Do some real research. The tigers that monks raise are rescued cats, injured and found by the monks or babies abandoned by their moms. They grow accustomed to the monks, and in turn they become comfortable in the area and think of it as a home and become accustomed to humans in general. Tigers everywhere are usually more sluggish during the day, if they're even UP during the day.

  • The tigers act sluggish during the day because they are mostly nocturnal animals, and that part of Thailand is sooooo hot, 110 degrees everyday.

  • I wonder what drug the tigers smoke.

  • fucking yellow thailand gooks. i hope they all get eating alive. fucking bastards

  • But here the staff drag the tiger up by its tail and force it to stand. because it is so drugged, it finds it difficult but still manages to cry out in pain and roar though utter agony, but people still laugh and think its 'cool' that the tiger roared! If only everyone had a little more common sense to such animal cruelty and boycott them!!

  • This is truly disgusting! The tigers are drugged and chained down, otherwise they would easily kill them without thinking. It is a huge tourist attraction and i have also seen footage of these so called tiger temples,

  • Don't fall for it...these tigers are severley brutalised and mistreated...Tourists need to be educated and stop going there and spending their money on the explotation of these beatiful animals..If you love tigers do them a favour and give money to stop the Tiger Buddha Temple...Very depressing

  • Thai people are very cruel to animals!!

Don't believe what they say! Check for yourself on Google!

  • There are reports that the tigers are drugged and it certainly looks like it in this video. Anyone that has a pet cat knows that this is not the natural way for felines to react with a bunch of strangers around. The tigers are not spayed or neutered & are a big money making venture for this temple.

  • i am scare when it hungry :P

  • These dangerous tigers receive mercy from monks that why they are so calm. Even animal knows what mercy is.

  • it is so wrong what they do to these beautifull animals! they drug them and there is no meat in their diet, they are carnivores tigers in the wild do not sleep all day , I can bet money that there are no tigers there that are over 8 yrs old! In good Zoos they can live 15-20 yrs! In this stupid so called "temple" they are constantly breeding them! 90% of their tigers dont live past two years! they are a bunch of FAKES!!!

  • @kingkong4u2c

there not druged how dare u say tht a thai monk would never do such a thing trust me i saw a vid were a monk broke all the bones and and put a knife through a birds head and showed it to every1 and then swinged it around and it was alive again .. its not magic there just .. spiritual

  • Spiritual? Yea? So how come they don't bring dead tigers or people to life? Huh? YOU DUMBASS!

  • @kingkong4u2c

ha ! u make me laugh i said on my other comment that a spiritual monk broke chickens bone and stabbed its head after a few spins it came to life u dicksponge

  • R u dumb you British Homo?

  • the fuck?

  • @kingkong4u2c

ur baseing your argument on info you seem to of pulled out of your ass.

big cats r perfectly docile animals when delt with correctly, if these animals were drugged then they would be unpredicatable and dangerus.

stop preching hatred for an organsiation that is doing somthing to help these animals, nearly all wild tigers are gone and id much rather them be in the temple then not exist at all.

cover your mouth when you talk we dont all want to be covered in your verbal bullshit

  • Listen you stupid fuck>>> First of all go learn how to spell properly! Next..I have been to the temple late last year , What you cant see is the 3 foot chains on the animals neck that they can't stand up for over 12 hrs a day! Don't speak about what you don't know...and how about you try to pull a dictionary out of your ass!

  • AAAAAAAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHA ur seriously using the Spelling argument? I feel my spelling is quite adequate for the fucking internet, im not writing a fucking english exam.

Plus iv tryed pulling a dictionary out and i wouldnt recommend it, lots of blood...

  • seems your the only one with this opinion... sorry to burst your bubble but i proclaim your argument invalid.

  • I've heard this but... these just look calm.

  • all big cats tame or not stil have there natural instinct to attack sumthing smaller than themselvs like children, eventho thay say the cats are docile coz thay have been fed, this doest stop any cat ( big or domestic) from having an uncontrollable impulse to catch "prey"

like we have all seen in domestic cats, no? there4, along with what my brother tells me whom recently visitid the tiger temple, i suspect these cats are drugged.

  • better for them to go the zoo.

in the temple have more place and more mercy.

they never feed a tiger with blood. That why they calm.

  • The monks dont keep them in any way, The Tigers live there

Part of the reason their so docile is they are raised in the surroundings

  • dude who say tigers were drugged do not know any thing about this animal . tiger in thailand they sleep all day and begin hunting in the night . not even tiger my cat and dog they always sleep all day too because of high temperature .

  • It's true dude!

  • Fuck all these monks.. damnn.. i hate those bastards.. free those tigers you motherfuckers.

  • A lot of the tigers there are actually just very sweet natured and since theyve been raised by the staff since cubs they enjoy some human contact. They are still tigers but have got to know people. They are absolutely not drugged in any way.

  • i hope the tiger bite of the white shiet

  • No, as amazing as this might sound to you, not everything on TV is accurate. And, if you knew anything about the history of conservation groups in Thailand, including the assassinations of animal rights workers and threats against anyone who interferes with money-making scams like this, you'd be much better off. You're basing your 'beliefs' on what you WANT this place to be like. There is a ton of info that proves otherwise. No one has ever been allowed to take a blood sample. That says a lot!

  • VIP program? OF COURSE the monks are going to make everything seem peachy. Facts: Tigers are chained up outside for several hours without shade or drinking water so that tourists can take photos of themselves with the tigers. The conservation value of this is more than questionable. The abbott has no legal documentation or permit to keep them. The abbott is not open to constructive criticism of his operation or support from organisations wishing to improve the welfare of the animals.

  • Oh, are you a vet? Did you take a blood sample? Tigers are showing signs of malnourishment, e.g. sight defects. They are fed on dogfood and chicken - an incomplete diet for felines. Tigers are reported to be beaten and abused into submission (negative-reinforcement techniques) in order that they can be handled and paraded in front of the abbott and the tourists. The monks have no training or equipment for tranquilising animals. If/when a tiger goes bezerk, pray that you aren't the target.

  • I think there is a serious risk that these poor tigers could become BORED to death!

..when you've seen one tourist, no doubt you've seen them all!

  • Look at the moron at 0:52 grabbing the tiger's tail.Man it's just a matter before someone get's seriously mauled

  • What have they done to these Tigers? Tigers DO NOT act like this. I would NEVER go to this country, this is sad, it is wrong.

  • I'm not saying they aren't drugged. I haven't been there yet unfortunately, so I can't claim I know anything. But aren't tigers nocturnal? Maybe that's why they're not active in midday. LIke my cats, they laze around all day and gets crazy at nights. I'd like to go and volunteer there someday...

  • I'd like to go there someday.

  • @Robtehman Why...So you can go there and touch a big cat, support the local tourism, promote the idea of captive exotic animals, support the buisness of torturing wild animals for your personal pleasure, add to the grief of the tigers, give the people there a false idea that what their doing is good?

    Im just wondering.

  • im sure you're right. was there last month. i was thoroughly disgusted at the horrid spectacle and cruelty. and the saddest part is that another 200 dopey tourist stand ready to line their pockets

  • Are you sure? I went onto a money converter and it syas that 300 baht is equal to approximately $13 Australian dollars..that seems very very cheap for something like that.

  • Everything is chep in thailand. And you also need to remember that this is temple, not a zoo.

  • well it ain't big in any way. the tigers are drugged out of their head. they should pay recovery from the gross travesty. saddest thing i ever saw.

  • Does anyone know how much it costs to pet the tigers?

  • What a silly crap. Idiot.

  • Let said your child have a stick in his throat, will u save him although it may give him pain?Harsh way have to be used to displine !

  • not drug!is all about loving in our heart !

  • These tigers look as if they're on crack or something!

  • I was jst there 2 wks ago...they looked drugged but once the rain started they woke up and wanted to play..if these tigers were truly drugged..with or without rain they would be sleeping...but they werent...so for all of those people who say the tigers are drugged up...go to konchanburi and check it out for yourself before u talk out of your ass

  • This is disgusting, these wild animals are drugged and de-clawed, fed on putrid dog food and confined in tiny cages for 21 hours a day. Can these stupid tourists not see these are just abused animals! those who think this is fine, abuse takes many forms, it doesn't take much intelligence to realise that. They display classic pacing and have no enrichment what so ever. Tigers, just like all wild animals belong in the wild! We have no shame and no one should support this. Yes I've been!

  • nope ur wrong

  • these are orphan tigers that they save and treat them!! they are monks so they cant have money! everyday they go to the city and people give them food for the tigers. these animals would be dead if the monks didnt saved the animals

  • they can't have money. then where is 200.000 baht daily going? i was there recently and it's absolute rank abuse. the tigers cower when they see their 'carers' coming, who prod them with sticks and pick them up by the tail. no exagerration. and this is with visitors PRESENT. talk shit by all means, but don't do it here pls

  • I just saw something on t.v about the tigers. The money from the tourists and such goes towards the tigers. I'm not supporting the whole zoo idea, it would be better if they werent letting the public in to pet it. but I guess its better than letting them die from poachers.

  • And how might you know this?

  • I suppose this argument could go on till the end of time. Reading the comments, those who HAVE visited this place say the tigers are not drugged. The only ones who claim they are (drugged), have not visited.

  • ow is that right. read! i was there and they look drugged out of their heads. can't lift their head most of them. check out official wilf life reports. you've obviously not been there

  • I've never claimed to have been there. I was only going by what comments I had read here. If what you say is true, then it's truly sad and, although Asia is not big on animal rights, somebody should definitely do something to help the tigers!

  • nice cats.

  • It's so different and refreshing to see an Asian country treating animals with love and respect. Hate to imagine what would've happened to these tigers in China.

  • it's not exactly like that, these tigers are drugged so tourists can aproach them and take a picture... you can see on the video that they can barely keep their head up.

  • No, you really think so? Maybe they're just tired..?

I suppose the only way to find out is to actually visit the place with a veterinarian or some expert on wildlife.

  • cats can sleep 18 hours per day!

they are like domestic cats because they grow up with humans and their food is only dogfood and chicken.. they dont know what is blood. thats why we can approach them

  • but still you never know what will happen...

if i could go there i would not go

    terrible things can happen there

  • Incredible! They feel like they're one big happy family! Wow!

  • Wow thats awesome this makes me believe in god..

    and monks

  • O HELL NO EVEN IF THEIR TAMED U DONT KNOW FOR ONE CRAZY REASON one might go pyscho then the rest follow holy shit u got balls monks

  • (big) Cats which are not hungry, and well treated (so they see human as friends) are MOSTLY safe. A residual risc exists... Everybody should know and respect cats and monks when visiting the temple. Additionally cats have a language (body-language), the monks know that, and they know which tiger is willing to play peaceful, and which one wants to be alone. What do zyou know about cats of all size duvdev??? learn more.

  • and also, what are they drugged with? they have no money to do such things to keep them stoned, drugged up as you will. they are already have a hard time feeding these cats.

Also check the Crocks in Thailand, their very trusted to Thai's aswell. The biggest crock in America is from Thailand located in Florida.

  • stop lyin you dont live in thailand. you say that because what? reinforce your statement that their stoned becuase you duvdev know first hand. sure buddy.

  • They need to build a shed for the felines.

They rheat of the sun is making them so tired. :[

  • They stay in cages during the night. The rest of the time they're let out with handlers.

  • they give drug to this poor tigers...look at them they are all ways look sleepy and down

  • They're at peace you idiot.

  • loooooooooooool.....yes you are right.....I cant stop laughing.....PEACE....thanks by the way..oh god...looooooooooool

  • idiot. cats which are satisfied do seleep a lot. And even hungry cats sleep 12 - 16h a day. Yoy don't need drugs to keep cats very quiet most of the day (look outside, look pet cats, look small wild cats, look big cats, they all behave that way).

  • province is kantchanaburi, I guess, some 3 hours away from bkok. We did it on our own, through an internet agent, who picked us atthe hotel on nice car (nice driver too); from 8 am to 5 pm back at the hotel, lunch and river kwai (on the area) visit, it costed some 130US$ p.p. If you have the chance, go and enjoy, I wonder how long the monks will be allowing visitors....

  • I would love to see this place. I think what these monks are doing is great the tiger is under seige by evil poachers and needs to be protected.

  • We went to this fantastic place last month. If you haven,t been there you cannot post a comment : tigers aren,t drugged, the visit is allowed just from 1pm to 4 pm, when it,s really hot and animals are usually sleepy. During that time they are chained with plenty water around. it was a really wonderful experience, you can have as many photos as you want at no charge ... the entry ticket is really cheap, so I guess these monks are doing a very nice job protecting the animals at no profit.

  • okay...i think i have to go to thiland someday to see these tigers !

  • Those bastard monks. I knew it was too gd to be true. Let's SCREAM tiger abuse and have the monks' scrawny asses kicked!

  • The cats all seem listless. Are they being drugged for the tourists?

  • They were probably imprinted from a young age or since they were picked up.

  • OH I WAS There also and it's amazing!

  • This always makes me think. They seem happy and relaxed, but do they really like being chained up? At least thats not very natural environment for them, they are like tourist attractions. But i hope they are happy.

  • This may seem like all fun and games until the fucking thing rips your head off, As friendly as they might seem they are highly unpredictable..

  • Look at your own cat. Most sleep all day. Especially in the heat. In the night they keep me awake though. Going here in november. Can't wait :)

  • People, these tigers arn't drugged, tigers are biurnal, but rest more in the day than they do in the night, that's why they aren't moving much.

  • what a bunch of fucking retards you are all: it's OBVIOUS they are doped... don't believe the monk bullshit because it's simply not true.

  • not doped! monks have saved them poachers. just because you wanna poach them aint my problem.

  • try pulling their tails or making a knot out of it.

that'd be so much fun :D believe me :D

  • they look doped up

  • Hello ^^

I went to thailand this year and it was fantastic!!!

    I love tiger too!!!

Can you tell me where is the temple please because it's a dream to touch tigers. Thank you very much and sorry for my english because I'm Belgium .

  • amazing, you actually cought tiger's tail and he didnt react...

  • Aparently, the males enjoy your company when you gently massage their testicles. Not sure if I would like to do that, but if it makes the tiger happy, then so be it. Anything for a beautiful animal.
