In cases were this doesn't work, an operation called a preputioplasty can be performed that conserves the foreskin. Circumcision is an obsolete and extreme way to deal with your problem. Even the BMA recognizes that most circumcisions done for medical reasons are medically unnecessary! An adult has a right to do what they like with their own body however.

@dalriada842 Yes that is a personal opinion, as is just about this entire page. For me personally, I've yet to have an interaction with an uncircumcised dick where it didn't smell. Though I can't say I've heard of someone complaining a woman's clit or labia smells, only their actual vagina, but hey, I doubt someone hasn't sewn up their vagina before. I'm from Germany, and can confirm, that I never had any problems with my foreskin, though it had a tendency to smell, therefor I had to wash it several times a day.
However, I circumcised myself at age 24, because I had decided to pierce my glans twice, and the foreskin would have been in the way all the time. So now I have circumcised dick with magic cross piercings and love it. :-)

The only medical problem is phimosis, and that is unbelievably rare, as treatable with steroid based topical cremes, foreskin stretching, and the Beaugé method. There's no reason what-so-ever to amputate the foreskin, let alone tie baby boys down and flay them!

I think your comment "Foreskin feels really good" is very short-sighted. What the foreskin has is a lot of nerve endings which in most circumstances provide a pleasurable sensation. Men with Phimosis however feel considerable discomfort which is only amplified by the nerve endings.
Generally speaking there are three other prescribed treatments for phimosis: manual stretching, steroid cream, and a preputialplasty but the most appropriate treatment will depend on the individual case.

The technique you demonstrate is not analogous to typical circumcisions. First the slit down the length precedes any circumferential cut. Secondly, most of the infants cut don't get nearly as much attention after the cut. They are sent home to heal haphazardly in a soiled diaper.

In cases were this doesn't work, an operation called a preputioplasty can be performed that conserves the foreskin. Circumcision is an obsolete and extreme way to deal with your problem. Even the BMA recognizes that most circumcisions done for medical reasons are medically unnecessary! An adult has a right to do what they like with their own body however.

I'm from Germany, and can confirm, that I never had any problems with my foreskin, though it had a tendency to smell, therefor I had to wash it several times a day.
However, I circumcised myself at age 24, because I had decided to pierce my glans twice, and the foreskin would have been in the way all the time. So now I have circumcised dick with magic cross piercings and love it. :-)

The only medical problem is phimosis, and that is unbelievably rare, as treatable with steroid based topical cremes, foreskin stretching, and the Beaugé method. There's no reason what-so-ever to amputate the foreskin, let alone tie baby boys down and flay them!

Generally speaking there are three other prescribed treatments for phimosis: manual stretching, steroid cream, and a preputialplasty but the most appropriate treatment will depend on the individual case.

Of course genital mutilation is not funny.
The technique you demonstrate is not analogous to typical circumcisions. First the slit down the length precedes any circumferential cut. Secondly, most of the infants cut don't get nearly as much attention after the cut. They are sent home to heal haphazardly in a soiled diaper.

Makes me glad I'm not an American, to be honest. The thought that (a lot of) you guys could countanance this stuff for cosmetic reasons is incomprehensible.

Few adult men request this. Mostly it's imposed on infants and children who are forced to permanently endure this penile deficit, by adults who have had the same treatment. Like corporal punishment circumcision follows a classic pattern of abuse.
