  • I need to do this flip I seen kids and adults do it. Its gets so frusterating landing on my back when I do it. I try to find tutorials but I cant find one. I will pull it off one day.

  • learn how to do a front flip... i suggest a trampoline so you get the feel

  • im pretty bad on it but idk if you need a tutorial.. it helps if you can already do a front handspring and just do it with a ball... i only tried once though and they didnt go very far hah

  • i would make a tutorial but i have no editing skills and i have a bad camera that only records for 2 minutes :( when i get my new cam for christmas i will make one in the spring :)

  • this is a really cool thing to do... i can do this to and all my friends are like how do u do that! and all i can say is that my 6 years of gymnastics help! good job!

  • It's really hard to balance properly on the ball, at least for me because when I do it I feel scared that Im going to end up falling. I can do the flip easy, and I can throw in really far. I just need to get the balancing right. Thinking of trying the setting it down and as I come up on the flip grab it and throw.

    Good job though, it went far! I play on a U16 team, in my last tournament a guy did that and threw it to the other side of the 18! Its a really smart way to advance on the field.

  • I tried this 20 years ago and ended up rotating on the ball and spraining my ankle so badly I was on crutches for three weeks; just before prom, too! So be careful out there youngins. After watching this video, I think I might not have been going fast enough to carry me straight over the ball.

  • Don't know the distance since I havn't ever measured it. I can put it in a net of a U19 field from half.

  • Do you have enough momentum to carry you all the way over? Try to be as straight over the ball as you can when you do it, I am still working on this as my arms are bent and I am not exactly over the ball.

    I want to try it too and I tryed in my yard but I'm afraid and so i'm automatically make a roll instead of a flip.

  • Hard to tell ya. If you can do handsprings fine then you should be able too. At first it might be a bit tricky since your hands are on the ball rather than the ground but after you try it a few times it isn't that bad. I don't really have any advice other than go out and try it.

  • Try to do it on a trampoline first if you have one, its much easier on that, then do handstands on the ball on the ground and eventually flip over, you might fall the first time but its not that bad. After that its pretty easy to do.
