I am from Blacksburg VA, the town in which the shootings occured and this video brings memories back. The memories, however, are not of the horror of the day but the unity and courage of everyone in the town. This video, though simple, is one of the most moving I have seen.
Here we go again, the person(notice I'm not including the race)whom murdered all those people had underlined mental problems? Let's no use this as leverage against religion repeat. Humans as we are will indeed make mistakes and use gods name in vain to validate our misguided ideals. One thing is certain civilians should not legally own firearms.
Mr Fleetwood you are a brilliant man to be admired - you video moved me to tears. I feel advanced sorrow due to the lack of attention to your profound conveyance of the facts. Such an importand issue having the rippling affect of a tidal wave with little less than a life preserver to hold on to. You summed up so much with so little words. You are to be admired.
News is more focused on entertainment now than humanity or the betterment of humanity. Martin Luther King was a genius. Humanity is slowly spiraling down into a hole of its own creation.
This is a powerful & moving video collage. It's very well done. My thoughts & feelings are with all the people affected by this extraordinarily tragic event & its associated consequential loss. Unfortunately, there really are no adequate or rational solutions to prevent these types of insane acts of desperation & unjustifiable violence; or simple explanations to explain their rare occurrence. But fortunately, they are very rare -- which is no consolation whatsoever to the people affected.
Banning guns won't stop shootings. Guns will be with us as long as we are humans, American companies will gladly profit selling arms and future illegal magizines for a profit. This is a mental health issue, the only real prevention for these in the future is an expanded anf fully funded mental health care.
Awsome video!
