Hi Flyfever.... the clue is in the title... a SHORT visit.....
By the time we had got to take off the sun was almost setting, with work and (gaining about 3min a day here in Scotland) fairly early dark I've been limited to sites that are NOT 'correct' for the wind direction ;-) The BEST days at this section othe Sidlaws are of course when its southerly (& thermic) the nearest SW site is Auchterhouse , about 100ft down from the Hill Fort (and 300ft west)
