  • ten8goa Cut your hair cause there are hats you know.. What a supid thing to say.. Who or which said glasses inside isn't ok in the first place.. Much we know is based on a majority side of what right or wrong but not necessary has to be so just because most people say/think so. Sunglasses is of course protection agains sunlight but why the onely reason to use it?

Glasses can be just like a neckless, ring, tatoo.. I mean, a neckless isn't onely for specific times like look good for dinner out..

  • Marshall, Mesa Boogie, and Soldano are the best amps ever!!

  • Hey guys don't say something bad about line 6! I've got one and its nothing wrong with it.... line 6 spider 3 15 watts is the amp that i have! clean, crunch, metal, INSANE! my favourite one is ofc marshall but line 6 is very good too!

  • 0:38 Yingwies Ego hits the floor

  • I expect I'm gonna be crucified by you guys ;D But I think that any Orange Amp is better than top end Marshals :P

  • @XxHoosierXHoosierxX what marshall have you plyed?mg?i could play better trough a potato in a socket than those marshalls mg sucks line 6 sucks you suck my dirty fucken socket

  • @XxHoosierXHoosierxX spiders suck, i hate mine cause it sucks terribly! now i have an ENGL AND IT BLOWS THE SHIT OUT OF EVERY FUCKING TRANVESTITE AMP!!!

  • @XxHoosierXHoosierxX fuck YOU line 6 are for armatures, dont waste your money on crap quality..

  • @XxHoosierXHoosierxX Line 6 is OK< but in no way is it better then an all tube circuit. That being said, Line 6 is a Company that is constantly innovating, and discovering all new technologies which are very interesting. The imagination is the limit. Still any Line 6 unit plugged into a Power Amp WILL Never sound, or FEEL better then an all Tube 100 Watt Rectifier MESA, or a Marshall JVM Thanks

  • It's so funny how him and Slash are the only old school guys who still wear glasses everywhere, leather pants, unbuttoned shirts, necklaces and tons of bracelets, and they both love the vintage modern..

  • Ten8goa get a fucking life

  • he wasnt serious untill 7 ! :O i wasent serious untill 17 !

  • only marshalls are marshalls

  • Hey, take off the sunglasses. You are inside a building and theres no sun.

  • blackstar > marshall. GG.

  • I love it how you got these guitar playing assholes in here who talk shit about other amp makers and then say its nothing like a Marshall ha ha...Why? Because it has tubes? ha ha ha...Its not the amp that sucks, its the...

  • marshall malmsteen hehe

  • When I started playing I said to myself I'm never going to own a Les Paul and a Marshall. Now I have done that, the combo is simply the best!

  • NO DOUBT, MARSHALL RULES !!

  • line 6 its for guitar pedals, marshall its for amp

  • depends on your application, home, band room, stage. Anything but stage just go get a crate vintage club like the 10 or 20. For a little over hundred bucks you will shit yourself.

  • yngwie does not use Marshall for its tone anylonger, which is strange but probably expensive too, for him. Any Marshall enthusiest will use a vintage marshall or one modded to hell and back "like me" LOL. These new amps are shit in comparison. Also, everytime I see this vid whether on youtube or Yngwie's site (whcih is the same) it is shit qaulity, why?

  • @sniffy45 okay then, educate me, if yngwie doesnt use the new marshells then, whats the best thing in a good price range which WILL be good an sound a bit like yngwie? dsl 50?

  • IM AS SOLID AS A MARSHALL STACK!

  • Anyone wanna trade my 5150 for a half stack marshall :D

  • @jimrox9000 yeah, of course i dont!

  • Walking around in Leather pants and Boot on a Factory Tour........seems kinda douchey.

  • @Todd6120

It's Yngwie, he can do what he wants!

Yngwie is the coolest, a true living legend!

  • the mesaboogies factory is decent, they have never manufactured a cheap line like MG ...

  • "the vint'ge mod'n"

no offence but yngwie is a douche

  • @Yowzow you do realize he's Swedish and English isn't his native tongue? And as far as him being "a douche"? Yeah. If Yngwie's a douche, I'd hate to think of what you are.

  • @rockerdude29 i know hes english. i had a bad night aight? sorry if i got your panties in a knot chill man

  • @rockerdude29 Uhhhh, actually he is an extrenely ignorent douche lol. no joke, now stop flaming and listen to the damn interview you twat.

  • @audio475

where in this video is he being a douche? he is complimenting marshall the entire interview.

  • @Fluffypopcicle hes not a douche in this video, but in reality he is a complete ass

  • Is he drunk ?

  • probably

  • I've been their and i've met Dr Dr Dr Jim Marshall OBE to

  • really? man that's nice!!

  • mmmm, indeeed, absolutely!!!!!

  • Marshall and Engl for me!

  • HUGHES AND KETTNER

  • they have quality amps as well man.

  • sellout ;)

  • I was joking. I am saying that Bugera and Marshall are no comparison.

It's like trying to say that Behringer truth monitors are Genelec 1031as which they so badly imitate.. Although the cheaper version tries to imitate to the core the more expensive, it's better to pay for quality.

  • 'cept bugeras are cheap pieces of shit that sound ok at best and break if you look at them funny. An amp's quality isn't determined by how much gain it has you dipshit

  • That's funny are you talking from experience or from what you've read on the internet? I actually own a Bugera and I have had no technical problems with it.

Not only does the 6262 have more gain then say a JCM or JVM, but I actually prefer the Bugeras tone. It has far supperior bottom end.

The Bugera 1990 pretty much perfectly emulates the JCM900 by the way.. The Bugera costs 500 bucks. how much does the marshall sell for?

There's no need for name calling, I'm just stating my opinion

  • Speaking from experience man. The amp tech at the store I teach at gets at least 2 bugeras in a week for all kinds of various problems due to them being built to a ridiculously cheap standard. Also, a boosted JCM800 or any JVM just sounds better, from any point of view, as it isn't a fizzy sounding knockoff of an amp that isn't as good as either one anyways. I've played most of bugeras line. They don't sound bad, but you can tell a $500 amp from a $1500 amp pretty damn easily.

  • Some of the earlier models did have some problems. That is were Bugera gets a lot of there bad rep. I forget what the common malfunction was.. it was an easy enough fix though. All of the newer models (post 2008) are fine though, they have all the bugs worked out.

I haven't played the 1990, but some people like it better then the amp it is supposed to be knocking off.

Look up some of "dingle1"s videos. He has some great demonstrations of what the 6262 and 333xl can do

  • Having one serious problem worked out doesn't make them good. Most of the ones we get in the store are models that are less than a year old, and not just 6260/2s, we get all kinds. I've played most of their line, I don't need to watch a demo of someone else doing it, and the amp overall is nowhere near as good as the amp it knocks off. I'm not a marshall fanboy either, I use a blend of an Engl and a Laney in my rig, but the bugeras are straight up decent at best.

  • Well first of all, there was no "serious" problem with the amps to begin with.

Second, the 6262 is supposed to knock off the Peavey 6505, but it actually has more bottom end then the peavey and it has an actual clean channel.

"I don't need to watch a demo of someone else doing it" Well perhaps the problem is that Bugeras only sound "decent at best" when you play them...

  • @xXTheRatXx

i disagree. the 6262 doesn't have as much clarity in the distortion as the peavey. plus the 5150 kills the 6262 if you're talking about bottom end. i like the peavey much better, but that's my opinion.

  • @Fluffypopcicle All i hear in the 5150/6505's is fuzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz fizzzz. with barely any bottom end.

  • @DB73093

than you must have heard some pretty damn defective peaveys. they do need noise gates, but they both have massive bottom end. the 5150 cab is horrible though, it will only do you any good if you have the matching head and even then you would probably be better off getting a good marshall or mesa boogie cab.

  • Marshall and Mesa Boogie: THE BEST

  • @ 4:15 Paul look so scared

  • Mesa Boogie Yo!

  • Sunglasses indoors = Pwnage

  • well not just that but those lights they have on them are fucking bright as hell.

  • Probobly can't be bothered to take em off.

  • Quite.

  • hahaha very true

  • maybe he's cross-eyed hahahahaha

  • lol..yep. If you wear your sunglasses indoors, you could be a rock star..

  • @VintageMord Sunglasses indoors+unbuttoned shirt+leather pants=Pwnage

  • You can buy a Marshall for the same price as some of those Line 6 toy amps. Do you really need 75 crappy sounding built in effects. Get a good amp an overdrive pedal. The toys DO NOT sound like the real thing!!!

  • buying used isnt a bad way to find a JCM 800 for under a grand either, or a Peavey Butcher for $400-450

  • why does yngwie always wear those glasses? xD

  • Cause he can! Big money = big sun glasses

  • Well, I use Laboga.

  • there's nothing like those 200 watt Marshalls.

  • amen

but i like hughes & kettner too

  • line 6 is total ass, even the solid state marshall amps like the mg250dfx are better

  • i love my VINTAGE MODERN

  • Proud to be jcm tsl100 Owner LONG LIVE MARSHALL!!

  • Line 6 amps are shit, only shitty little kids use Line 6 amps. Please don't come on here comparing Line 6 with Marshall, you are just showing your ignorance.

  • Yes.. Please. I own a line 6 spider 3 and... (shakes head) Just say no

  • heyyy, I own one too, but I modified the tones and made it pretty cool, they can actually be pretty good for a digital amp you just have to work with it.

  • its true line 6 are just basic kiddy amps (who the hell wants to be a clone of 500 artists tones right?) but marshall are no longer worth the money imo. if you can get one second hand, oldish, in good condition, excellent. new marshalls dont hold up to the older ones imo :) nowadays your just paying for the brand name, and not necessarily the quality.

  • i own a line 6 yeah im a kid . its ok but its to expensive to get a good krank amp. i think there good for metal. marshals good too

  • the new JVM 410 is pretty bamf not gonna lie

  • Modern vintages sound great.

  • @Hertsman50 Micahel Romeo is a shitty little kid? New one on me. I saw him live at key club west ho with nothing more than a single vetta HD and it sounded great and he could probably melt your face off with legato only so hush now

  • Comment removed

  • @MikeToddOnline what the fuck? I've seen people who would make you look like a retard on guitar with nothing more than a Fender Squier and Line 6 Spider IV 30W amp..lol Just because your idol has shit taste in amps...don't blame it on me..lol

  • @Hertsman50 sorry to tell you but some Marshall fucking sucks... just like the Line 6...

  • hahaha yea they suck, but not every1 can afford to go out and buy a top notch Marshall, so their good for beginners.

  • @Hertsman50 you are perfectly RIGHT. i clicked this video and saw this , 1st comment was yours and lol... line 6 compared with marshall LOOL

  • @Hertsman50 I remember Paul gilbert used line 6 quite a while back..

  • @Hertsman50 line 6 is fuckin modern shittttttttt hate the fuckin sound on that amp the tone sucks rightttttttt

  • @MrYngwie88 too right..lol

  • @Hertsman50

ha ha, you're a douche bag...ha ha ha

  • @PIlotrcm oh dear looks like i've upset another shitty kid with a Line 6 amp..lol

  • @Hertsman50

What ever douche ha ha ha You're the kinda moron whose only way to determine if something is "good" is by looking at the price tag..."oh it's a Marshall and it has tubes in it, it must be good then plus it costs $3000 so..."

Some tubes are great and so are some solid states, its not the amp that sounds like shit, it's the...

  • @PIlotrcm you sound like a whining emo fag..lol So it's not your amp that sounds like shit...it's you..lol Okay so you're a shitty guitarist with an amp that sucks and you can't afford a Marshall...ha ha ha. Go tap your parents for the money or better still get off your fat lazy ass and get a job...ha ha ha. Stupid kid..lol

  • @Hertsman50

Actually I'm 32 and I have a job, career actually. I don't need to "tap my parents" and I've played in professional bands while attending college. College, have you heard of that? Anyway, you don't know me you have no clue what amps I own or how I play. So why be such a stupd useless prick who thinks that he knows what a fine glass of wine tastes like when you have no clue.

Now tell me why Marshall amps are so good? Oh, and I own one as well.

  • @PIlotrcm erm that college didn't do you much good coz you still sound like a whining emo bitch fag..lol You Line 6 fan boys are all the same.

  • i like both... but i would choose marshal over line 6 just because it is more reliable in a concert. line 6 is just a practice amp really.

  • Man, i played a jvm 210h amp at a local music store today. There was a ware house in the back of the store where the amp was. I cranked it to 6!!!!!!!!!!! EXPLOSIVE!!!!!!!!

  • es el segundo mejor del mundo no es mejor k paul gilbert

  • So What ????

  • he always say he is jetlagged classic yngwie :P

  • I just played a marshall JCM900 today, really cool amp, might sell my jazz chorus for a jcm800/900 or even DSL

    Marshall are great xD

  • Try the JCM 800 leed series. I have played through this rig for 25 years and wouldn't change a thing. Awesome marshall tone !!!!

  • I wish marshals were cheaper,cause i can't afford them

  • line six amps have a pretty deep cool sound and are cheapers. you cant beat the actual thing but u can get pretty close.

  • get a job then. and they are actually allright priced expensive amps are diezels and bogners

  • I like how the guy is forcing Yngwie to say something positive about the current amps while every Yngwie fan knows that he prefers a very specific type of Marshall made between 1972-74

  • lol true, but its good to see he was surprised about the sound of the vintage modern, i actually know for a fact that they r a huuuuge leap forward for marshall...not since the jube or slash sig has a quality marshall amp been made...but thats just my opinion

  • i seen Yngwie live & 34 quads have some volume.

  • those 34 quads are there for show, you'd be lucky to see 2-4 of them in use even for a giant outdoor gig

  • what valve combo's are they talking about...I can't understand what that english guy said

  • I'm going to be buying a MG50DFX off a friend around march...went round there recently to try it out...first time i ever played on a marshall and it was great...can't wait...

  • man don't. its solid state. don't do that to yourself. save up and get a DSL or something seriously, it'll be the best thing you've ever done.

  • He's probably a kid dude, let him get the MG series shit. lol

  • You can find better than a MG !

  • Yeah, I played an ex-Gary Moore JCM 800. Best amp i've ever been through and the volume wasn't even on two! Straight through with a strat: :) Buy a classic head for a real rock sound forget that effects shit.

  • "still working on the artwork"

    hehe

  • ;) hehe

  • LMFAOO!!

    AHAHAHA

  • Did his accent somehow get thicker?

  • There's alsorts goig on in his accent, English, Swedish, American, it's all cool.

  • Hells yeah - if there was one word to describe Yngwie, it'd be cool.

  • he got thicker

  • i think maybe because he smokes a lot...

  • at his current size, no suprise =P

  • Ive got a strat with Yngwie pickups, a dodyjm308. what marshall tube3 amp should I get to get his tone? vintage modern is expensive like fuck. xD

  • The 1987x is the reissue of the exact head Yngwie is using. (50 watt, no master volume - very loud amp !)

  • No master volume? HOly shit!!!! :O So if I buy that amp I have to pay with money and my hearing? :( :( :(

  • The 1987x is expensive like hell, because it's all hand-wired.

  • Yngwie es y será siempre un jodido Dios!!

  • I just fucking love my TSLstack :D

  • I hope Marshall will release a YJM signature amp in the future!!! YJM kicks ass!!!

  • Yngwie has a signature amp, Its a YJM blackstar buy rhino amps, Its a amp head with his exact tone.

  • Only a few were made though, cause Yngwie decided that he just "couldn't" play anything other than a Marshall. He never actually used those Rhino heads at any concerts.

  • Okay, I'm interested in Marshall.

I like Guns 'N' Roses, AC/DC, and Paul Gilbert....which amp model do I need to buy?

Thanks in advance, you're doing me a big favor.

  • I think you should try a jvm-marshall a new stack (vintage modern) It sounds amazing!

  • I think if you don't have enough cash kicking around, you should shy away from Marshall. The cheaper ones definately don't have the Marshall sound.

If you're on a budget, you should check out a Laney VC30 or a VC15.

If your budget is big, check out the JCM 800 or a 1959SLP/1987x.

  • you should buy the vintage modern

Slash, Paul and Angus uses it

of course its only there nowadays tones

    not the old tones

  • my first marshall was a avt150 valvestate head.

i got it for $300. if you don't have a lot of money to spend, get that.

if you do. get a jcm800. and buy a tubescreamer for it!

  • I'm going to try out the JCM2000 combo soon.

  • When i saw yngwie back in July he was using his 50 watt plexi's and a DSL!

  • what marshall amp does or did he use? which is the best for an Yngwie tone. I got a YJM308

  • i thought he just used the 50watt plexi heads, isnt the yjm308 a pedal?

  • Yes! from dod! awsome!

  • Vintage 50 watt heads. He uses handwired models from the early 70s. These days, he uses vintage re-issues live(the 100watt "classic" model), just so his originals don't get damaged.

  • he uses 100 watt marshalls live?

  • I heard that he was using the vintage marshall mark 2 heads for along time. I hear now that he has been using the vintage modern on some of his shows but i don't know if it's true or not.

  • Nope, not a VM, but a DSL ^^

  • WOW never though i would see yngwie using a dsl.

  • WOW! this video is from the future!!!! lmao, in the titles it says this was taken on 11-06-08 lol

  • You american by any chance?

  • yea im just making a dumb joke about the typo on this video

  • It's not a typo. In europe it's day/month/year and not month/day/year as in the states. The Marshall plant is in Bletchley, north of London in England.

  • Lol

  • I remember seeing a vintage modern in a store, and thinking that you could probably get a very convincing yngwie tone from them.

  • Yngwie was sensational in the U.K what a tour cheers Yngwie we love ya.Until next time all the best you're the best

  • I'm going to see him today in Gothenburg

  • Just came back from the show in Shepherd Bush, London. Yngwye rocked!!!!

He invited Jim Marshall on stage and the crowd went nuts!!!

  • but why no malmsteen signature marshall?:(

  • because he use marshall 1962 with overdrive. is very difficulte to reproduce de same sound quality of old marshall

  • im going to see him on saturday in manchester i carnt wait, hes a god and its gunna be a once in a lifetime experience

  • im goin to manchester to man i cant wait, been waitin for so long to see him live!!
