This is the early 70s gas engine Benz right? My friend has a 77' that looks exactly like this one. He's always out washing on a weekly basis as if he's trying to impress someone, lol.

only thing i don't like about these older mercedes is the huge f'ing grille and the old style rectangle tail lights on them.

Nicht schlecht. Sehr selten. ein 126er mit M119 maschine. Ist das ein 6 liter oder ein 5 liter ? Toller wagen. Eines der besten und schönsten S-Klassen von mercedes mit dem wohl besten Mercedes Motor aller zeiten. Schade das es den M119 nicht in serie in dem 126 gab. Aber dann wäre Ihr Auto nicht so was besonderes. Ich habe im übrigen einen 500 SEL W140. Davor hatte ich auch einen w126 als 560 SEL. Deshalb weiß ich um die Qualität der 126er. gruß

shit yeh man nice car we got a 560 sel mercedes as well euro model. it goes hard its done 520,000km and still looks new got to have a new paint job soon its not faded its just stone chips anyway nice man. your merc still couldnt win of my dads 2003 gmc sierra though. his is chiped up its got the duramax and 0 to 100 in 4.2 seconds. anyway nice still

Not mine, it's a friends but thanks. Wheels are 17"x8.5" with 235 tires front and 17"x9.5" with 255 tires at the rear. In this vid it's on AMG springs but has now been lowered further. Cheers

Thks very much on the info. Appreciate it. Went to a tyre shop y'day to inquire on rims. They highly recommended a set of 18"x8.5" AMG Monoblock II rims with 245/40/18 tires c/w Eibach springs. I'm not quite sure if the width fits the front fender. Do you happen to know anybody using the above spec?

I know of a W126 with those width tires at the front but the car is not lowered so I can't say for sure if they'll work on a lowered car
