  • Nice Summary. Just be mindful that during his swing, the most important action comes from your core contraction, not from just a row action. Doing so will put the pole too far in front of you to finish your inversion. Also, He leaves the ground with a slight pause before the pole hits the back of the box, allowing him the maximize his take off angle and transfer all his T-O velocity into movement of the pole.

  • @PelletierPV Right, thats a good point, emphasizing the core contraction is much more crucial than the row. And some vaulters dont jump with the Petrov Bubka method, jumping early, so that needs to be taken into account also.
