Wow ! This is astonishing !!! I watched the video 3 times and didn't se how the impulse is sent to the dual pendulum !!! To my defense, it's 10 to midnight and it's time for me to sleep !

I think I understand it now (after 25 views), but for one thing: what resets the horizontal rotating arm? Is it the centrifugal force?
It would be nice if you could extend the info with some explanation (or a reference).
