Suggestion: re-amplify the sound at around -6 dB. You can use "Audacity" which is a free sound editor. If you create the sound, check your volumes before recording. (Make sure nothing will clip) :P

re-amplify? you mean just change the volume of the voice?

Because only 1 person was willing to do voices for my animation I used audacity to change the pitch and made a higher pitch voice so there would be 2 different voices :|
