Rest in piece Eugene, for all his faults he at least tried to give the Boer people a future. I hope another charismatic leader can take his place, hopefully one who won't have his many personal and ideological flaws though.
To all the people who think that because Anita is bandaging a black boy that this is testament to the "new South Africa" is sorely mistaken. Anita was - if you remember the first film - not prejudice even during Apartheid in how helpful she was in her chosen field. You might also recall that in this particular film she eludes to not being happy with contemporary South African democracy. A changed woman? No, but people like Anita and J.P are more idealogical than anything else, not practical.
Thanks alot for the postings. I enjoyed it. This exactly what needs to shown especially toward the end when Anita a former nazi AWB member was bandaging the lil black boy. It touched my heart to see change. JP too made some progress. I hope they continue to improve.
Great documentary... I actually always thought that the AWB just wanted a piece of land for the boer-people... Butt they didn't see consider their black neighbours as equal... That what's made their struggle completely illegitimate. Sad for everyone. Thanks: great documentary!
BTW, great documentary! Especially the development that this lady Anita, ex of JP, has made. In the past still proudly present at weapons demonstration of AWB ¨such a nice atmosphere¨, at the end of documentary taking care of a wounded black kid.
So that was party-animal Eugene Terblans... I miss him daily... not..

Perhaps Broomfield should return and do a third film, since Terre'Blanche is dead it will be interesting to see where the AWB goes.
