Cheers for the video man, I never knew that dodging and burning was done blind in regards to actually viewing the final print (I thought that the image was projected onto the paper while it was in the chemicals... oops!), must have led to some hairy moments!
Great video Stanford, but it would have been much better if you had spent a little more time in your English classes. If you are going to go to the trouble of making such a video, you should take the time to provide clear and understandable directions and explanations.
@sangetsu04 you know what ? we have spend alot of effort into this tutorial, and this tutorial is only for people who appreciate it and for people who wants to learn how to use a dark room. its clearly not for people like you. Going around judging other people's video and how they talk and such.. Stop acting like an old Grumpy old man, and hey When you upload a better tutorial video, let me know and if its better this one then ill take ur advice into consideration .
@lykhoi96 Nice work. was contemplating setting up a darkroom in my home. just seeing what its all about, at the moment. ( seeing what all is involved in its operation. many thanks
you seriously don't know how much this helped me, my teacher told us how to use an enlarger but i'm a very visual person i needed to actually SEE how to do it. thank you thank you thank you. i'm going to attempt to print my photos tomorrow morning :)
Omg you have saved my life! (Well in photography, at least)
I'm a freshmen in high school and I had NO idea what to do, so I procrastinated and I couldn't find anything online on how to enlarge film... UNTIL NOW! So I'm going to finish my project ON TIME and receive an A! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Black and white photography is widely desired by fine art and some renown portrait photographers. There studios specialized for black and white portraiture. See next message..
Indeed, some fine art photographers, who switched to digital photography, have returned to film based black and white photography. Here in Canada, high schools are using/teaching film based black and white photography so that students understand what photography is about. This is why black and white film based photography is still with us and will stay with us for a long time to come.
switching back and forth between you and the girl just confused me
