Does anyone know why I can only fit six 2 3/4 shells in my magazine? Seems like I need another millimeter or so for the seventh shell to lock in. Everything seems to be in place internally.
@SirGlockALott Depends on the load. Some shoot better than others. Federal and Remington pattern better than Winchester in most of the loads I've tried.
@MadOgre 1. ]:)> 2. I would love to find a short semi-auto 12g 20" or less barrel ( I have short arms :) with at least a 5+1 capacity of 3"shells, adjustable internal chokes (for HD and hunting) , a rail on top of the receiver, and a tri-rail forend. All for a decent price. Any recommendations?
@sigvarela Yes. Tis not hard to do, and mostly unnecessary as you can just open the action, hose down the inside with Hornady One Shot, let it dry, then run in a little Slipstream Weapons Lubricant from Crusader Weaponry and you are good to go. The most important place to clean is the gas piston under the handguard, and you don't have to take the trigger group out for that.
I run the same buckshot in my SPX. Cheap and reliable ammo. I get the 15 round bulk box at Walmart for about $8.50. It cycles great through the SPX (as all other ammo does as well) and it patterns well for HD purposes.
I really like when folks as yourself do these vids Ogre. As you stated at about 6:20 or so "the 12 gauge is misunderstood" is a great statement. So many people to this day still have the hollywood idea that a shotgun does not need to be aimed. This vid proves that wrong. Thanks.
Cool.... I would have liked to see you swap targets between buckshot shots so we could see what was happening at different ranges. Looks like a great shotgun without much recoil. Rock on!
@ps90tacguy At that range, load in a Federal Black Cloud load. That will keep more pellets on the target. But then again, I'd consider just using a slug.
Or, I could just keep the Winchester PDX1 load in there, and nail the target at will.
The PDX1 is what I'm keeping in my gun... Mag tube, and Side Saddle.

I use birdshot in mine all the time, for clay pigeons no problems, however it does not like reloads from my experience.

How does it handle birdshot?

Where did you get that side saddle?

@kratostorres1984 TACSTAR. I have used their stuff for years and have never had any issue with them on any of my guns.

@MadOgre how is the mossberg 930 compared to the benelli shotguns and beretta shotguns in accuracy, rate of fire, and quality??
runhorun 10 months ago
@runhorun It's cheaper and over all it's on par in all tangible metrics against the other guns.

Nice gun but for the target I would have put wood or something to see damage cuz my pellet can also tear up paper
TheLuque1994 1 year ago
@TheLuque1994 Yes, because my lack of a more reactive target, your logical conclusion is that your pellet gun is as powerful as a 12 gauge shotgun.
Yes. Your right. Now go hunt bears.

@msmit105 I have a KSG on order. I dont have that CZ... while it is a good gun, I'm not looking to buy that one.

@MadOgre So jealous! I wish I had the money to get one right now. You have to do a video when you get it.

I just got my 930 spx and it came with a side saddle as well. Do you have to take the saddle off to be able to pull out the trigger for cleaning?
